The Himalayas, with its peak Everest, is a dream destination for climbers. However, for the locals, the Himalayas are a gold mine. Of course, not gold in the true sense, but rather refers to a mushroom called yarsagumba. In Tibetan, yarsagumba means summer grass, or so-called winter caterpillar.
This unique mushroom generally only grows in early summer or around May and June. Therefore, it is not surprising that summer has arrived, the villages on the slopes of the Himalayas are suddenly empty. Villagers would climb and compete for yarsagumba on the high slopes. Uniquely, in the search for yarsagumba, people flocked to carry tools such as poles, so that from a distance they looked as if they wanted to attack groups or tribes in other areas.
