I tried it, like the idea. We are heavy users of ThreatLocker, so for us, Huntress can run once and maybe catch some things. But after the first run, ThreatLocker (if configured correctly) isn't going to allow anything else to run or get a foothold. Huntress could still catch a possible mistake made by a tech approving something bad, but the cost in that situation didn't justify it for us.

This is the route I think I am going. I wish I could use Huntress as more of a one time audit tool for new onboarding, then once ThreatLocker is on, nothing is going to have a chance unless there is a vuln in ThreatLocker.

What if there is a supply chain attack in Threatlocker having huntress in place would help make sure there is another layer in place to catch this. Just my thinking but I have Sentinel One and threatlocker and really like that combo. Huntress has been on my plate to test and could see a place for some clients.

@@tossthis5626 ThreatLocker only allows or denies. It doesn’t run PowerShell scripts like an RMM, it doesn’t push commands or anything like an AV. The policy is stored on the computer, and updated via cloud. So we’d be taking about a double attack, and sure that can happen. But if we’re playing by those rules anything can happen. We are heavy ThreatLocker users and have a decent knowledge of the product, but someone please correct me if I’m wrong.

When I talked to them in 2019, they were OK with me as a end user because of the number of endpoints I have. Hopefully they won't change that.

It's dynamic and there is nothing interesting to be gained from knowing my home IP address.

When your price varies on how much $$ your company has, I don't buy. When I purchase any software I always look at price. Publish your set price on the internet. I always go with these providers.

The price is tiered based on the number of endpoints, not how much money a company has.

Ya I am already not liking them, I called and they asked for how many clients I have and how much revenue I make, then the lady suggested that I be a reseller and followed up by saying "let's get you started so you can start making some money!" I was like "I am not trying to make money just trying to find and implement good products for my clients.." she was a bit confused on that I guess.
