Absolutely .. I don’t have 200k for a new setup with all the fancy utes and canopy’s and 10 k just for a solar system . I don’t think I’d buy one anyway. I’m 55 and will be using my swag , old Engle and plastic tubs for many more years and thoroughly enjoying it . And I can fix my Ute myself 👍
I agree that’s how it is. They get sponsored to push a product. Honestly I loved the episodes where they have the 47 and the 62 in them. It’s fun to watch old iron out in the woods with a bunch of buddies laughing and joking with each other

These were the days when I used to watch these then head out there myself to give it a try. Nowadays I watch the new stuff, switch off half way through and decide ‘I won’t be doing that’. It’s the fine line between Adventure and Misadventure I guess.
Did the exact same thing with my patrol cv. Snapped the stub axle but could still steer and didn't even know I did it cause of the lokka. Next went to leave camp to head home and couldn't steer left.
So did 4wdsupracenter sue over the 4wd action name? Still never understood why they changed the name to 24/7... I know they "explained" it but still never believed the reasons.
