Moab Utah is truly magical! And Hurrah Pass leading to the Chicken Corners Trail is without a doubt one of the most beautiful off-road trails. As far as terrain, this is an easy trail, but you can't just dial it in. With some very tight areas with sheer walls and step drops, you have to stay attentive at all times. This was our first of three days in Moab and it did not disappoint!

I keep wondering if I can get my motorhome down those Kane Creek switchbacks with a trailer…

Those first switchbacks would be tough, but that area where my sensors went off would make me think it is doubtful.

Fantastic! I have long hoped to take my FJ60 out there. Hopefully i will before the Resident completely blows out the gas prices.

My fuel bill for the trip was over $1600. This included the round trip from Nashville plus all the tooling around. Hopefully next time it will be a bit cheaper! But it was well worth the trip and I can't wait for the next one.

How long did it take you to drive out and back?

It took us 1 hr to get to our campsite from Moab and then the next day we spent all day driving around. I think the drive from downtown Moab to Chicken corners is about 2 hrs if you go direct.
