Not everybody wants to serve Hurrem. Not everybody wants to abide by her rules. People like Mahidevran, Ibrahim etc either had to follow her every command so she was at the top, or be themselves and be just like her (but therefore be in war with her.) it's unfair. She's not the only one with feelings, others are just as power hungry and in the same situation as her!
I do not agree entirely. She was the first one to show aggression towards Ibrahim Pasha. From the moment she knew how much the Sultan loved him as a brother, she envied him, and the first moment she was alone with him she immediately treathened him. He didn't understand why, but being a strong personality as he is, he immediately made clear he's not a man to have as your enemy. But Hurrem would constantly show him her enmity. When Ibrahim took a first strike (with Leo), war broke lose between them. Like; everyone else attacked her first, but she was the first one to attack Ibrahim.
@wardachrouaa7281 I think it was because Ibrahim Pasha's loyalty was tilted more towards Mahidevran and Mustafa, and Hurrem realised that the safety and security of herself and her children were in the balance (especially given Mahidevran's) hostility towards her. She decided to follow the rule of my enemy's friend is my enemy.
It was no easy task for the new mature Hurrem to take over from Meryem Uzerli, but, by God, this lady played her part to absolute perfection. Five stars to her.👏👏
@@fulfilledfantasy.Meryem played young Hurrem perfectly while the current actress also played the old Hurrem perfectly as way more mature and calm Sultana. Both still whispered while speaking, both still had piercing gaze, both still had biting words, both were also Hurrem with slightly different qualities due to experience & wisdom.

This is my favourite scene. It shows Fatma exactly what Hürrem is capable of, and how she has to do what Hürrem wants otherwise she will bring shame on her family and the Sultan
So happy to see someone wiped that asinine grin off of Fatma's face! Such an annoying woman. She obviously learned nothing from her sisters messing with Hurrem's marriage, children and harem. Team Hurrem! :).
Not sure I fully appreciated having these individual scenes until this season of the series. I have to admit I was just not that into many of these characters. This allows me to pick and choose and only re-watch my faves: Hurrem, Mihrimah, Rustem, Suleiman, and Sumbal.
I pity and at the same time, I truly respect Hurrem. She deserved the position as a Queen. To be a Queen, you need to have a strong character and personality
Fatma realized what it looks like to fight hurrem sultan, she started it on mustafas manipulation who brought her to capital, like others she started it. Hatice and Shah also started it.
I'm on neither side, I'm neutral. All of them did everything to survive. Hurrem won and I stan her for that. I would do the same for Mahidevran, or other women for that matter. Because they were victims of the system and had no choice.

She became more fierce and scary unlike the young Hurrem who's focus on suleimans intimacy and affection. Ps. Im talking about Hurrem's before and after and not the actresses.
They recycle the costumes mihrimah also wears mahidevran's dresses and in kosem they used many jewlery from this show wich is normal it costs alot to make new ones

These people really don't learn, do they? Hurrem doesn't throw the first stone, but she'll throw a mountain at you if you come for her. F around and find out. I also love how each actress played hurrem. Meryem played the young, hotheaded version of her perfectly. But this actress plays her as the experienced wife, mother, sultana that she became. This woman has been through the flames a few times, she has her connections, she has her power, she's quiet fury.
It has always irked me how inaccurate the show was on the hierarchy of the harem. All of the sultanas (Suleiman sisters) should pay respect to Hürrem and not the other way around, as she was Haseki Sultan, second only to the sultan (and if the valide was alive second to the valide as well) but as there was no valide Hürrem had the highest position in the harem.

Hurrem sultan found out that Mustafa and mahidevran manipulated fatma and brought her to capital, it's their fault that fatma suffers. She didn't bow to fatma and left to go to Suleiman hahaha good

Mustafa brought her to palace, he personally asked her to fight hurrem sultan in harem and said some things there, apparently Shah did the same when fatma visited her, that's manipulation he lit her up. His mommy taught him well, she did the same to hafsa , to Ibrahim and to hatice.

@@signora1102 There are many scenes where mahidevran manipulates hafsa and hatice and Ibrahim a little. Now she is doing it with fatma via Mustafa. Hafsa realized it watch ep 55 she said it on mahidevrans face. "You act thru us, hurrem acts on her own" see what I mean? Hafsa liked Hurrem in the end and turned against mahidevran but died too soon. That's what mahidevran does since ep 2.
Now that cat is out of the bag, watch carefully how Fatma engorged Mustafa Pasha with poisoning food until he choked to death , that's how wicked are Suleiman sisters are
None of them. Valide Sultan was title for the reigning emperor's mother. Hurrem was a haseki sultan, title for the reigning emperor's chief consort. Fatma was a sultan (often translated as sultana in Western), title for Ottoman princess of the blood.
