These are tough times.. Trust in Jehovah, soon he will transform the earth into a paradise that Adam and Eve lost.. Psalms 37 verses 9 10 and 11 and 29..
We're hanging in there, riding out dutty Beryl. The winds were worst along the Eastern and Southern coastline of Jamaica, not so much for the communities inland. However, the rains have been constant causing floods island wide. Honestly, this is a category 4 cyclone, the damage could've been devastating. I live in Kingston and praise Jesus, where I live, we still have power, Internet and cell service. I'm watching Amazon Prime and snacking while the rains are drenching outside. Some areas are without power but that's not the case for majority of the island. We have to thank God🙌🏽 for being spared from this catastrophe. May it continue to pass us with no more damage than already caused and may the Cayman Isalnds be spared as well. May the intensity die down, drastically, before hitting Mexico and Texas. Stay safe for all in it's path, God bless🙏🏽
@@maria21453 They got it worse than Kingston being more south. They're having technical problems so if you have loved ones there you might not be able to get in touch with them right now as their services are down (phones and internet). I'm not sure of the span but in different regions of Negril that have service, people have reported. The technicians have been sent out to try and rectify the issues though but the tail end of the hurricane has a lot of lightening storms, so that's slowing the process as well.
@@maria21453 They got it worse than us being more south. Persons who can communicate have reported phones and Internet services being down. Technicians have been sent out to rectify the issues they're having but the process is slow due to us experiencing a lot of lightning storms across the island. If you have loved ones there, you may not be able to reach them because of all this.
It's heartbreaking that this hurricane caused so much devastation so early in the season. I pray that these people are spared any further loss from future storms.
You’re right. Unfortunately, the ocean temperature has been warmer lately, which can increase the likelihood of hurricane to form and strengthen. Yikes 😫
@@space9277 my man, he’s saying he feels bad and is empathetic for these people. At the very minimum he’s helping spread awareness. Also Jamaica is a very religious nation so they would like to receive other peoples prayers. he isn’t obligated to spend thousands helping Jamaica although the government could definitely step into help, being empathetic or sympathetic doesn’t cause death. Also how much food and support have you given the Jamaican people, I’m assuming from your comment you’ve given tons, right?
@@space9277hey, jamaican here! we understand that western nations have become quite cynical and negative in recent years but most of us in jamaica do want and welcome prayers❤️. we are a deeply spiritual/religious nation so please don’t speak for us because you don’t know what we need. food and rebuilding is great from those who have to give, but prayers are appreciated from all. thanks tho
@@juniourdaquan The BUILDOINGS has NOTHING to do with it. It is most DANGEROUS in CROWED areas than open. Fortunately KINGSTON was not in the REGION and PATH like the South Coast of IMPACT. Because you would not be saying the SAME after the END-RESULT.
@@Live-LifE7825 I'm well aware of the end results in certain places across the Island. My sister and grandma is in Westmoreland and it's Nasty over there
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whosover believeth in Him shall not perished but have an everlasting life. God loves you **
So how come the Catholics murdered all the Indigeouse people of Jamaica? Verse 34 Matthew 10:34 34 Do not think that I came to send peace upon earth: I came not to send peace, but the sword. 35 For I came to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36 And a man's enemies shall be they of his own household. 37 He that loveth father or mother more than me, is not worthy of me; and he that loveth son or daughter more than me, is not worthy of me. Sadely Iesus does not look after people. His miracle hands are like slippery butter fingers and those needing saving have often died. The real God did not give his only begotten son! That is a fact.
The churches send out missionaries to help the people. Praying you get all the help you need God bless. I am very sorry to hear about this hurricane across the islands I saw Grenada and at Vincent so sad
The reporter doesn't have a clue that roofs in Jamaica is made of zinc metal. If the wind dislodge a zinc roof it can go flying. Not safe to be out in the open
@Petunia3001 So, I am living in eastern Jamaica. No, internet access or electricity since the hurricane arrived. What happened? Did it turn away from us,
@@fourq2049 I’m still learning more, but it seems like, so far, the worst possible scenario was avoided 🙌🏻 still some damage, but not the devastation we were all so worried about. Please continue to stay safe!
I lived in Las Vegas from 2000 to 2007 and summer temps over 110 are normal. It got up to 119 a few times when I lived there, before the term "global warming" was even a thing. In July of 1942 it reached 117. Wonder what they blamed it on then? Oh, I know. Probably, the sun beating down in the middle of the desert.
It missed us barely in the East of the island. But regardless, lots of mess to clean up. I hope that jet stream of wind, the coriolis ( in the atmosphere) that keeps shifting the hurricanes a little north or south of us for the past decades, never switch their "love" for Jamaica
God Bless and protect all in its path. Heartfelt condolences to all of those families who have lost loved ones. Prayers for those who are injured and for all who are having to rebuild their lives.
You called him a fool yet he is the one with the information telling you whats going on ,another fully dunce jamaican, then we wonder why God hate them so much
One thing I know about this little island Jamaica 🇯🇲... it's made up of some very strong people and as much as all the violence and horrible story the media pushes out there sometimes. They are a very prayerful little island. The people there love God. it's the solmneness in the air in the early Sunday mornings😊🙏🏽. I'm sure there won't be as much destruction as other islands as people have been praying since the news went out.
In 2022, a death experiencer (obviously revived) said that they “saw” mass destruction in July 2024 during their death experience. They also said that there would be a “coming together” of people to right the wrong.
These islands take tourists for everything they can. They don't invest in better building but expect help every time there's a problem. Enjoy paradise and rebuild better.
Do these US reporters get special hazard pay if they report out in the storm? Because I've worked 15 plus years in news and television production in the Caribbean (Grenada) and have experienced a few storms well. Never once has anyone suggested hey lets go outside in the storm and put do the report.
Google Jamaican Chinese. They've been here since 1840 and came as indentured servants to work in the sugar cane fields along with the Indians/Hindustanis. They retain very little if any of their Chinese origins. They're 100% Jamaican and were instrumental in the creation of reggae. Google Chinese Jamaicans and reggae.
It is just a matter of time when a piece of debris will take the life of a reporter standing in 70+ mph wind to demonstrate how strong the wind is. Trust us. We know. No need to put your life on the line. They only learn when that happens.
@alpi57! Why would you PREDICT such INDIRECTLY WISH for someone to get HURT?. That is there JOB they STUDIED and TRAIN to DO. Not like MOST SCAMMERS and CRIMINALS in Jamaica.
Please worship the CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE, THE LORD GOD and try not to worry too much about the differences between the different religions and denominations, try to think about the similarities and the things they may have in common more than the differences. Daily prayer is a fundamental part that many people do not practice although it is encouraged 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 "CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE, LORD GOD, I beg you to never force me to worship any false god or object and I ask you for forgiveness for my sins and immorality. Thank you for everything. Amen." Please pray this now, pray the words as you read them if you cannot look and remember them
Well thank the Lord we survived this hurricane 🌀 but barely lot of rain 🌧️ and flooding river flooding streets flooded not sure if Jamaica 🇯🇲 will recover from this storm ⛈️ anytime soon However we work together to rebuild our country
Wow! Tough situations overthere. What's happening across the world is alarming! And it's not normal. But people are still not paying attentions and praying for God's mercy to falls through for humanity, because they are so preoccupied in the sphere of life and put God in their boxes somewhere. But there will be darker days ahead of us until we take the necessary steps to repent and acknowledge the most high God. May God bless and protects the people overthere. Meanwhile, let's enleash strong prayers in the atmosphere, so God grace can comes down upon us. 😔 ❤
