most of the people stayed in Houston cause the mayor told everyone to STAY. the mayor said it wasn't gonna be "that" bad. its worse then anyone could have imagined, 50+ inches of rain, dozens of tornado's...
Man I’ll never forget Harvey. My wife and I lost both of our cars and had to be rescued by boat but so many more had it worse then us. We live on a 2nd story of an apartment and all of the people on the first floor lost everything.
current resident in Texas I stay in East Texas though. we are just getting rain here, I work at a hospital and they all asked us if would stay at work literally spend the night. because they say we are looking to get a lot of patients and people this way, so they will need the help. I pray for everyone so sad..
+that rwby girl smh I know so heart breaking... and I just seen pictures online of a nursing home that flooded. all the women were seating in there chairs water was waist high. Thank God someone rescued all of them!
thats scary, imagine being in the attic only having 1 door to get out and its flooded and it slowly rises to your head and you arent able to get out another way
These news anchors sound so disconnected from what is happening, it's like they only care that they have something new to report on, almost sound like they are having fun reporting this
Guys we could have easily saved Texas from the hurricane. Once we knew it was coming we should have taken Texas and PUSHED it somewhere else. Problem solved.
I heard two Houston policemen say they were not told about the possible flooding, and were not mobilized by their mayor! So they went out to help using their own boats. Yet even here in Australia we all have known for days about the massive flooding coming to Houston!! This is the start of it.
1000frolly we knew it was going to flood, it's not our first hurricane ever. No one left because the last time we tried to leave it was more dangerous than the actual hurricane itself.
Reid I did not mention leaving. Its hardly practical for 6 million people to leave their homes. My question is; where is the mobilization/communication? Who is supposed to be in charge?
At 3:49 my Brother in laws best friend is there I felt to bad for him his house was a disaster he only got one bag of Clothes with his daughter and wife
I have barely experienced Harvey's wrath in person here in Houston. Really tragic event but I decided to make the most of it on my channel! Please spread my message to others that we must grow as a community, help each other out. Be prepared to assist others when they most desperately need it. Thank You - Axel Has Clout
That sucks i mean you have beautiful children and a beautiful life with a nice house and it get's ruined i mean it is terrible but all i can do is pray for texans to be safe #TexasPray #HurricaneHarveyIsDown

I remember one Labor Day I was shutting down my pool for the year and some big brassy blonde from Texas was bragging to me about how they swim all year in Houston. I didn't realize she meant in the street.
Where would they have gone? I literally just sat here and thought- if a hurricane hit and they told me to evacuate- where tf would I go? Like i legit don’t have no where to go that wouldn’t directly be hits
If you live on the Gulf coast, you can expect to be obliterated by a hurricane sooner or later. The same goes with the base of volcanoes, tornado alley and earthquake zones. Sorry chumps, you won't be getting a dime from me.
Hi my name is Marie Godbold am coming Imperial Church of Christ I will keep you in prayers in jesus name amen. Most holy and righteous God please in jesus name hold back your water let the water dry up keep everyone safe in jesus name lords will amen.
Just look up Hurricane Rita. Then you will understand why we stayed. All those people that would have evacuated would be drowned in their vehicles on the freeway. Educate yourself if you don't know much about something.
@ Reid Hancock Well, hmmm the hurricane/storm was out in the gulf for quite awhile. Giving people more than enough time to evacuate. Also if the road's could not handle the amount of people for a proper evacuation then that is the fault of the local government for not upgrading the infrastructure and the excuse for not enough funds is bologna. 24-48 hrs is plenty of time for people to evacuate, if they chose to stay knowing they don't have the proper equipment/housing then that is their own negligence.
DJ Ghost Yeah, no, it's no ones fault. They opened both incoming and ongoing lanes out of the city. That means 16 lanes going out of the city. And it still wasn't enough for about 6 million + people to evacuate in a few days. We evacuated during Rita and took us 48 hours that would normally be 2. Harvey turned into a Cat 4 right before it hit landfall. Now that we have all the pieces together, let's put them in place. So, it's a tropical storm until it's about to hit landfall. So people aren't really worried. The mayor said we should stay and sit it out. It changes at the last minute, so everyone should just evacuate right? No one knows what's going to happen. It's a gamble no matter what you do. Now, I don't know about you, but I'd rather fair the hurricane with my house crumbling around me and drowned in my fucking car.
the mayor diod not issue a evacuation order because he says he didnt want cars on the highways going out of town. and you know with people now leaving that FEMA will go house to house looking for guns.
Yes, many bad things are going on in America and in the world; people are GREEDY, DISRESPECTFUL, DEMORILIZED, VERY MATERIALISTIC, DESTRUCTIVE, VIOLENT, SELFISH ,DONT HAVE RESPECT FOR LIFE. Many SATANISTS and PERVERTS. Change toward LOVE and PURITY of hearts is WELCOMED in this world. Anna
Every state official should move swiftly to help out in situations like these, there's enough help if they behave with purpose these are all taxpayers suffering but no they worry about fucking starting war. SMDH

Unfortunately, this news channel will never connect events like this with 50+ years of extra-ordinary consumption and goods from half-way around the world sold at "Big Box" retail stores. All that infrastructure making us dependent is speeding up the great tribulation when resources won't be so plenty. "The evil one controls the world (1John 5:19)."
