If you been on TikTok there was a lot of people that live here acting like this wasn’t no big deal then the famous “if Waffle House didn’t close then we good” well some of em did and that’s when some started taking it serious but I hope those who decided to not leave are by themselves so nobody falls victim to thier ignorance but themselves

The storm is not over yet. Waffle House is the GOAT for being the last to close near disaster. However, they are risking worker’s lives and those willing to risk their own. Every time…😢

This meteorologist did an excellent job: succinct, informative, explain explanatory (e.g. wind vs gust), without unnecessary drama and little talks. Best meteorologist I have seen reporting on hurricaines in years.

Never heard of the meteorologist so I just had to look up her credentials Her name: Somara Theodore Theodore graduated from Penn State University with a major in Meteorology and minors in Energy Business and Finance as well as Mandarin Chinese. While attending Penn State, she was a student meteorologist with the Campus Weather Service

The problem with 140mph gust to 160mph. I'll bet not even one observation shows anything close to that. It's like a theory in a model environment without land in it. Sure those winds are possible but I doubt they will ever happen anywhere near the ground.

Hi ABC News , the worse from this hurricane is yet to come, we had a cat 3 hurricane in Miami in the year 2005 by the name of Wilma and the effects of the winds in our area were catastrophic, my prayers are with those who are in the eye of the storm at this time, rgs
