I was in vacation in Connecticut, landed Sunday. Found out about the hurricane path as we landed. We left our 3 cats home. I live in tarpon springs 4 miles inland. My neighbor is looking after the cats for us but I cannot rely on him if shit goes down, as he as a child and 3 cats himself. We are at the airport right now, leaving 48 hours early, going into the path to save the cats. We may leave, idk, things feel unsure. Pray for us. Jack, we've been watching you for years and love the hurricane updates. Keep them coming. You have a gift.

I’m in Walton Co., FL. I seen what Michael did and met many people who stayed and told me they were admittedly stupid for staying and would never stay again and lucky to be alive. I hope people evacuate. Gas stations here are running out of fuel from evacuations.

Issue with it moving back west, is now the same areas that got absolutely decimated by Michael are up to bat only 6 years later. The same counties in GA had sustained winds of 95-100 with regular gusts of 115-120+. This is turning into worst case for anyone.
