Oh my! But……praise the Lord his home is standing, Charlie and his wife are fine and safe, the Superior Word Church is okay….and Sergio & Rhoda are well!!!! GOD took care of y’all…He heard all the prayers and protected y’all. Lots of cleanup, but it will get done in time. Praying he gets the power on soon!!! 🙏🙏🙏 Thank you so very much for the update!! 💜
Ya but god fucked over a lot of other families in Florida and the Carolina’s….. so there’s that. Just be a good hearted person….you don’t need god for that.
Sergio, thank you! I am sad that Charlie's patch of paradise took such a hard hit, but grateful that they are physically safe and sound. Praise the Lord for keeping your home, Charlie's house and the Church from being destroyed. A lot of work ahead, but life will go on. God bless you all!
Greetings from Old Bar Beach NSW Eastern Australia. My wife and I have been praying for you and your Church. We praise God that he has shown his love by protecting you from the worst of this storm. We always look forward to your teaching/preaching. God bless and Maranatha.
Thank you brother for this update! I am in Zebulon North Carolina, most of my family resides in the Tampa bay area and I have one cousin in Englewood. But I was so worried about Charlie you and the superior war church! Thank the Lord that they’re OK! And thank you again for that update. Sincerely, Rosa
Thank you Sergio for the update. So thankful Charlie and Hideko are safe as well as you and Rhoda. The amount of cleanup is tremendous but church is unscathed . YHWH is so good. I'll be watching Sunday. Prayers and love from N Idaho. Maranatha!
So thrilled to hear Hideko and Charlie are safe from the historic storm! Glad you and Rhoda were still around to support them through such an event! Love you all!
Thank you for the update. We enjoy Siesta key so much. We love staying at the Siesta Royale. We will be there in November. Our life group from Cross and Crown church in Colorado Springs we’re praying for you and all of Florida!
Praise GOD for His Mercies !! So relieved to see Charlie hurling debris into truck ... does Charlie ever Stop Workng??? what a work ethic/ sense of duty / stewardship ... !!! Appreciate Sergio...thank you !!!
Praise God Chancy Charlie made it through.....the same for you two as well. We took a beating with the trees and shrubs, but the house came through with flying colors! Praying still for the folks down in the Ft Meyers area.
That's my home town. I grew up fishin' on Siesta Key and Lido. It's sad to see so much damage but maybe it's time to move back to help rebuild. Thanks for showing us Sarasota and Siesta Key. I'm surprised to see that coconut tree on the ground, they're built to put up with storms more than other species.
I am wondering if that coconut tree might have some termite damage. That would weaken the tree for sure and saw holes near the base of that tree. I am having the same issue with a few of my very large palm trees here in Arizona. Scary that a big wind would knock it over and cut my house right in half. I see such happening during the Great Tribulation. Dreams of ferocious winds blowing trees, houses, cars, people, dirt, watching while standing safe next to a secure white wall. Who knows!
Thank you, Sergio, and Rhoda. heavenly Father, Thank You so very much for keeping Your son Charlie his wife, Sergio and Rhoda safe within Your arms. Thank You for raising up a son who thinks of his employers (blowing leaves) before his own property and that of the church. Father, please keep Charlie from harm as he cleans up his and others property. Please LORD may he seek after Your wisdom prior to attempting g to work on these properties. Again Father, thank You. Amen --Ray Delbury Sussex County NJ USA Ps LORD, When Charlie hugged Sergio it seemed to me, he is having problems with his left shoulder. Please LORD put a healing touch to this problem. Amen
We praise our Lord for keeping everyone safe. Thank you, Sergio and Rhoda, for keeping us up to date on what is happening. Jesus is so good to us, yes?!
Thanks so much for the update!....I was wondering how things were and knew there would be damage but you are alive 🙏. Everything else can be cleaned up or replaced over time but your lives are so precious.💜
Thank you so much for the update, Sergio! We have been praying for the Lord's protection for Charlie and Hideko, and you and Rhoda! Thank You, Lord! Will continue as you move through this!
Thank you for the update! We're grateful the damage wasn't as bad as some places. We're praying for all of Florida and South Carolina. God bless, looking forward to Sunday!
We were incredibly fortunate to be on the north west side of Ian. Life in Sarasota is mostly back to normal already. Fort Meyers, Punta Gorda, and many towns south of us will spend years getting back on their feet. Thoughts and prayers to those who have lost loved ones, and hopefully those people who are missing, are found and brought to safety as quickly as possible. Siesta Key would be quite a different place today, if we had also experienced 16 feet of storm surge. Fresh water flooding, and wind damage, are dangerous, and absolutely no joke. The storm surge however, on a storm like Ian, is nothing short of lethal and catastrophic.
God bless your warm heart Sergio! Thank you soooo much for this update. It's wonderful to know the church window & door held up, fabulous to see that you, Rhoda, Hideko & the babies faired well, & totally terrific to see Charlie dancing around with joy for our Lord! Sad to see their yard did not fair so well, but at least the dock/pier, the vehicles, & the house weren't destroyed. It'll take some time to clean up the yard though. Wish we were there to help y'all. May our Lord keep you all safe during the clean up process. Take care of yourselves & each other!
5 Come now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. 2 Your riches are corrupted and your garments motheaten. 3 Your gold and silver are cankered, and the rust of them shall be a witness against you and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days. 4 Behold, the hire of the laborers who have reaped your fields, which you kept back by fraud, crieth; and the cries of those who have reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth. 5 Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth and been wanton. Ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter. 6 Ye have condemned and killed the just, and he doth not resist you. 7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. 8 Be ye also patient; make firm your hearts, for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
Thanks for this update. Our family and friends love Siesta Key, and we can't wait to come back and visit! I'll look up your church on our next visit and watch a few videos of Charlie's sermons in the meantime. Take Care and God Bless ya!
Thank you so much for the update. Prayers for Pastor Charlie, Hideko, Rhoda, Sergio and the Superior Word church family for safety during the hurricane and recovery were and are being offered. So glad the damage was minimal even though is so much clean up. God is good …🙏

Yippeeeee! So glad to see Charlie and Hideko are safe. Praise God! Thank you Sergio, so much, for giving us such a detailed report. It is so comforting to know all is well with the 4 of you, and that both your houses are sound. I’m thanking God...it could have been much worse! How did the rest of the Superior Word church fare?
Glad to see the people at the green house are OK. I love the color of their house and the "Hippies to the back" sign! So many trees down and places damaged. God Bless Florida!
Thank you for this update letting us know that you all are doing ok especially Charlie and Hideko! What a storm! I'm in Palm Bay near Melbourne and it was still a strong storm as it reached us! Praise God I never lost power and no flooding. My heart and prayers go out to the folks of Naples and Ft Myers!
Glad everything turned out well. When I saw your video yesterday I did a double take when you said Charlie was on the key during the storm but it looks like you guys will be fine (just busy for a while). Praise the Lord!
Thanking the Lord you are all safe. Been praying for all our Superior Word family there. Continuing prayers for strength, help and safety as you clean up the aftermath. We love you all ❤️
😄It`s so good to see Charlie dancing at 7/11 and Hideko doing ok after the storm. Well, we started cutting down a palm tree the other week in Charlies garden. Now i think i should come again and help to do the clean up. ;-)
Praying God's blessing on the key. That all will humble themselves before God their Creator, come together as a community and bless the Lord and each other together. Amen
So glad everyone's okay. My older brother Rick Walker lived in Sarasota for 30 years. He and his wife Sherri had a street ministry there for many years. I have fond memories of Sarasota in general and Turtle Beach on Siesta Key in particular. Back in the seventies that was the quietest place on earth. God Bless you all.
Thank you for sharing, prayers that avail much!! I Thank God you are safe. It looks like the vegetation took the brunt on your property and spared the house, The Lord is awesome, looked after your home and your congregation building!! We are relieved to hear and see you!! Will pray that the work and cleanup goes decently and in order! 😊 so awesome of your brother in the Lord to make this video!!
Thanking our Amazing GOD for watching over you all. So happy to hear from you and Rhoda as we’ve so missed your israel videos. Wondering are you living here now? Some day, we hope to visit The Superior Word church.
