Most of us here in Florida do not need anyone to feel bad. We know what we signed up for living here. We expect it and most of us plan accordingly, although I still find myself having empathy for the ones who get hit. Just like the guy who paid out of pocket to rebuild his building...he planned accordingly. The resilience and humanity that comes from these disasters is what people appreciate.
