Hurricane Lake FL Fishing (Breaking Down A New Lake)

First fish of 2021!!! Wow, first time fishing Hurricane Lake in Baker, FL and man was it a grind!! Fishing there 2 days in Feb 2021, after a 4 day mass cold front with air temps dipping into the 40's. This was the first day after the cold snap, daytime high of 61. First day, very windy, super clear water, bluebird skies. Tried to work the north banks out of the wind. Had a bite on the north east corner by a lay down. Went back day 2, little warmer but overcast and winds were little calmer. Caught one bass off a senko. Fished the south end of the lake, no luck in all the coves. Can't wait to try this bad boy next year, till then!!!
