Series of Interviews in 2010 featuring Betty Sue Lynn, Cissie Lynn, and Rebecca Lewis. Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. Enhancements made. Camera work by Freddy Brackett Edited by Hannah Towns
My condolences to the Lynn family of the loss of their mama Loretta last week. Now she is in heaven reunited with her husband and her son Jack and daughter Betty Sue and her bff Patsy Cline. The heavens are singing beautifully now. 🙏🏻👑🕊💐💔
Just saw Coal Miner's Daughter as an adult with adult children. The only other time I saw it I was 11 years old. Still love the movie. R.I.P. Loretta. What an amazing story about her life.
I was so lucky to have seen Loretta Lynn in concert. She was so down to earth. My husband and I went to Butcher Holler. Looked inside the house. The area is beautiful. Rest In Peace. May God hold you in his arms while you sing him a song.
I'd love to have been to Hurricane Mills, because I practically grew up in the country myself, so it would've been almost like going home again! I know Betty Sue passed a couple of years back, and the world just lost Loretta, so I probably never WILL get there! RIP Jack Benny, Betty Sue, Moony, and Loretta too. Be happy-together again!
Hosting The Cherie Show for 15 years and the Heart of the Home cooking show gave me an amazing opportunity to interview special folks. Check out my interview with Charley Pride, Percy Sledge, Donna Fargo and Connie Smith. I was truly a Loretta Lynn fan all my life. She was the Queen of country. Rest In Peace precious lady.
I don't think she sounds like Loretta but she could've been her Aunt Crystal's clone! Cissy has Crystal's mannerisms, smile and all. Only difference is Cissy is blonde and Crystal is dark.
I traveled from CO to TN, and HAD to visit Hurricane Mills. Can’t remember exactly the year I was there, but thinking 2015’ish. Miss Loretta was ill, and the concert we had tickets to was canceled, but hey, touring Hurricane Mills was the experience of a lifetime! If ya’ll ever get to TN you need to go. Incredible people, incredible time!
Down to esth people with a wonderful mother/ singer. Lorretta & Conway are the best love them both. R.I P LORRETTA Prayers for the family. So sad Patsty Cline doesn't have a better memorial. Love country music This lady has a wonderful voice
Kimberly I grew up on Loretta's music and can't think of a time in my life I didn't listen to it. SO thankful to have spent many days at Hurricane Mills and so happy to share this with everyone. Praying for Cissie as she is now fighting cancer again. She is precious.....just like her Angel Mama.
I really loved her. Miss her dearly. But I know she’s having a ball in the presence of Jesus now, and we will all get to see her again sometime! I lost my maternal Grandma in 2016, who was born in Kentucky, along with my Grandpa. But Loretta has always reminded me of my Grandma: her mannerisms, voice, inflections, movements, kind spirit… after I lost her, I really enjoyed seeing Loretta in videos and hearing her beautiful music. It was very comforting. So believe me when I say that I love you, Lynn family, and I am sharing in your grief and loss. God bless y’all and may His peace comfort you during this difficult time. ❤️🙏🏼✝️🕊
I wrote to Loretta many many years ago sent an album she autographed it and sent it back I paid postage both ways although I don't have the money I'm a poor person can't travel to hurricane Mills I wish I had the money to go I'm so sad about her passing I'm heartbroken
Thank you. I have interviewed many folks I loved but these two precious women and I had a lot in common. Biggest thing being we adored their precious Mama.
Loretta Lynn has been my most favorite singer so while visiting relation near her ranch i was overjoyed to go to her beautiful ranch to see the legacy. Hoped it would of been sooner so i at least could have given her a big loving hug.❤
She will be missed by many people who love her so I am going to miss her so much i appreciate her to take time to talk to me about anything and everything that me and my fiance had had some problems and now I don't have any one that I could talk to
We lost a national treasure when we lost Loretta Lynn this month . I truly enjoyed watching this video interview with Loretta’s children , and hearing in their own words about life with their dad and momma . The media has done a disservice to Doo’s reputation and memory with their insistence on concentrating on an infidelity that they think may have transpired . Loretta’s children would not have loved their daddy so much if he had been disrespectful of their mother .
Agree with the idea that Doo was made out to be a bad guy". Cissie was serious about being Daddy's girl. She adored him and had a really hard time when he passed. Loretta struggled with many things after his death. Losing children and a husband is so hard.
PS … I am so very sorry to the Lynn family, and country music fans, on the loss of The Queen of country music. My heart is broken. Miss Loretta was so much to so many. Came from nothin’, to stardom, but always acted like she still had nothin’, and was just a good ole gal. May she forever rest in the arms of the Lord. You will sure be missed. 🌹
This video was the best one I have seen on Loretta Lynn life and family I really appreciate and enjoyed this very much thank you 🙏 for sharing this with us people also I love Loretta Lynn music very much but just like the Lewis woman patsy cline to me was the greatest woman ever of country music the way hank William was the greatest man country 👩🎤 as well as conway twisty and Tex Ritter iagree that the state of Tennessee should make a museum as tribute to patsy clone because the rock monument to me is a insult to patsy it doesn’t do justice to her life’s musical life and talents and career and dedication and accomplishments to the music industry and it’s legacy of her life contribution she also had to be away from her family to dedication to her music 🎶 career but anyway thanks 🙏 for the video I loved her and her music 🎵 and I pray for god to continue to bless that talented family to continue to carry on her musical talents and legacy in memories of her 4 ever on this earth 🌍 🍿🎵🎼🎤♾🎶🙏✝️✡️☮️🇺🇸🇮🇱👼😇❤️🎤♾🥇
So happy to be able to share this with everyone. Many people only dream of a trip to Hurricane Mills. We were greatly blessed to be there often. Cissie has recently been fighting cancer again. Please pray for her. Loved sweet Betty Sue and sure miss her.
I'm guessing this was filmed not long after the 2010 flood as she said thank god everyone you know was alive. But not long ago Loretta's ranch hand, good friend died in a flood there. 2022 or 2021.
But this is certainly on my bucket list and I would definitely going to do it now in memory of the First Lady of country music I know she's in heaven with the queen of country music Kitty Wells along Doolittle and her son Jack Benny rest in peace Loretta you are missed already we love you
Can anyone tell me the location and if they are still doing tours etc since Loretta has sadly passed. Can anyone tell me a website or address to how to find this place. I was born and raised in TN and got to see her preform up in Pigeon Forge when she went to Country Tonight but I'd love to see this so if anyone could pass me an address or website to find info on this plz I'd appreciate this
There will never be another coal miner daughter . Love her but she is now with her beloved do little and her daddy but most of all Our LordJesus Christ.
I hope Loretta was truly saved, but sometimes I have serious doubts. For starters, at least one documentary mentions Loretta's interest in reading tea leaves and other forms of fortune telling. If she were a true believer, she should have known divination/witchcraft is an abomination according to God's pure, perfect word in the English Language, the 1611 King James Bible.
Iagree with you she is with her other family and friends in heaven the video was great but I only disappointed that they didn’t give there Indian grandmother much more credit to her life as Loretta Lynn mother and crystal gale she is the one that sang and danced with all of her children and read them the word of god raised them on proverbs 22:6 this is why that families is still alive and blessed 😇 by god with their musical talents and abilities they only said she was stern with them she showed them her love by her actions and words they have and awesome grandmother in my book so even if they spent more time with dews families it was there mommy families who read them the Bible in the olé moon 🌙 light and sang them to sleep 💤 they had a awesome grandmother some one ☝️ beautiful they should be proud of her with her great life choices to raise her family on god’s word and to teach them god first and foremost and family the most important things to have while living on earth 🌍 loved 🥰 your comment ✝️🇺🇸☝️☮️💤✡️👼🎤😇🙏👼🍿
It is not idolatry when you bury a loved one you give them a big head stone with words onit and people go and put flowers 🌸 on it idolatry is when you worship something other than god our creator creating a place to remember someone by as a tribute to their contributions on this earth to have been a great blessing to others that their life touched on earth and that gives them a place to pay respects to the life they lived on this earth that is a respect thing to their memories of what they accomplished with their talents god gave them that they used to be a blessing to others on earth 🌍 like what they have done for Loretta Lynn and Elvis Presley it’s a place to go and see what they did in this life that is a memorial to them and that is not idolatry you mis interpret gods word because idolitry is when you worship something other than god you see and that is different than having a memorial and tribute to a person life big difference seeing something about someone and worshiping it is 2 very separate and different things I disagree with what you said wholeheartedly you have a blessed 😇 day goodbye 🎼🌙♾🎶🎤☝️🇮🇱🌸👼☮️🌸✡️✝️🇺🇸😇🙏🌍🎵🍿🎼🍿🎵🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🎶
