I love these videos they are a great inspiration. I was on a cruise one day before hurricane Dorian hit and I and my family had to ride up a rental car from Miami to Tampa for a last-minute packed flight. Well the rest of my family ( my 3 aunts family) drove from miami to Maryland

@@amirahtorain4393 Florida has a large Latin culture from the Caribbean. In Miami you will find little Havana. California has the Mexican culture. So, by and large here in Florida we do not have stellar Mexican.

I have a quesadilla idea! Dessert quesadilla! Desert quesadillas obviously aren’t super healthy, but it could be a fun treat. You can add marshmallow and chocolate chips and it would melt down to be really creamy and tasty. You could dust some powdered sugar on top or maybe a drizzle of Nutella!

In Mexico, we have another type of quesadillas which are called "sincronizadas", which means you put cheese and ham to the quesadilla and also it tastes delicious with some slices of avocado and a little bit of salsa.

I love to put salsa and cheese in my quesadillas. I also put cheese, shredded chicken, salsa, and a mix of fajita blend veggies (they’re frozen and are a blend of green bell peppers, red bell peppers, and onions and we just microwave them).

My Bonus Daughter also prefers cheese but I smear Ricotta on the tortillas to make it creamier before putting the cheese on and sometimes sneak in chopped sauteed cauliflower when I let her watch TV while eating because she doesn't notice.

I know a lot of people in Jacksonville FL. I over worried about Dorian. Here in Central Ohio, all we worry about is Ice in the winter, when you can't get out. So we always have extra water, and food of course. (I have a lot of prepper supplies).

I put butter on the tortillas then put it on the pan the side with butter will be on the pan and even the top side so it will be crunchy and buttery and extra delicious

Being i- Grand Bahama. And being a survivor of Hurricane Dorian. These lunches would've been so helpful! But unlike most, we werent prepared. Nobody expected it to be that bad. To any other survivors out there, who's lost their homes (like I did) due to the flood. You all are very powerful people. I love you all, and wish you the best of luck.

If you wanted to make the hot dog rolls for the meatball sandwich more Italian... you could coat them in garlic and herb butter before you add the cheese
