The recording is done from a similar ship as the one you see in the video. Both the ships belong to the same company and sail the coastal express route - up and down the Norwegian coast .... and they serve 34 ports. In total are there 11 such ships on that route. When the ships meet they salute each other (only on daytime) but also the other ones who work on the ships want to salute each other so they blow a whistle. It's a bit difficult to a have a chat in that weather and with the distance between them..... right....They are simply contributing to having a great workplace......
