Something about a female cop just screams revenge to me. I know of a few people from highschool that I heard turned bacon and honestly them kids seemed to always have some type of anger and a linger of negativity around them. The kind you and your friends would joke around at lunch saying that kid gonna snap at any second. It's very strange. I been arrested for being a little too open with my partying in my younger days and I've honestly never met a cop or co that seemed all there, always seemed like they were programmed.

Math: When they went to the final hearing for their divorce, she would likely be removed as the beneficiary on his life insurance policy. I bet she had $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. To someone who has worked as a divorce attorney, the timing makes perfect sense. She may have been getting a long fine with him, but it was far better for her finances and retirement for him to go. Also, he would get 1/2 her pension and/or 401k, at least the part earned during their marriage. Plus, she would have to sell the house and split it if there was equity, probably, and move, and she would have to "share" the kids. Plus, 14 years or so, she could retire. People are evil during divorces.
