@@amirjoseph23 yeah. I don't necessarily hate or at least try to not do so but I do disagree at some of Sheikh's opinions. If I am wrong to disagree I need Allah's forgiveness and if I am right, then I seek guidance.
If your husband allows you to portray yourself in such a way on social media, you immediatly know what you are worth in his eyes. Real man will never allow this.
The youth growing up in today society have a lot of challenges. The internet is a powerful, and sometimes dangerous thing. I think it is best for everyone to keep themselves as private as possible. I only have close friends (2 in total) and family on my Wattsapp as well as Snapchat. I barely use Snapchat. I don't have an Instagram (never have). Social media is a great tool to have when you're, for example, promoting your business (provided it is a halal one). My cousin is a baker and a hijabi. She never posts pictures of her face/"fit check," just pictures of her cakes to promote her business. This is fine. But I don't understand the purpose for a woman (or man, in fact), to become an "influencer," other than the fact that their pictures/videos will attract attention from the opposite gender, and this isn't the way of Islam.
Tragically today we have Muslim men who want to propose to Muslim women who are social media influencers saying this is the pretty dream wife they were longing for! 😂 also , u have Muslim women who tell other proposals clearly, I am ‘broad-minded’ so I dont expect my husband to stop me from my online haram activities! What a world we live in! Lusts, desires, greed for duniya, and then we wonder, hey why is my dua not being answered?
As-Salamu Alaykum, It is BETTER if you Don’t use certain Emojies, since some of them are basically Drawings of living beings or Allaah’s Creation. Don’t even use emojies of bodyparts, like a hand, etc. … , for other ignorant and naive Muslims might see it and start drawing themselves as well! And there is a great Punishment in the Hereafter for those who imitate or draw Allaah’s Creation. Let’s not influence other Muslims negatively, and let’s make the Halal and good available and easy, and the Haram and bad hard. Let’s stay on the safest side, for the certainty.

No way to be an influencer without showing your beauty also. It is literally what it's all about. A good looking woman/man showing their lifestyles and promoting different products.

Why is it “husband who allows” instead of “husband who encourages or supports”? Wearing hijab and dressing modestly is a choice of the woman that she’s made prior to marrying, is this correct? It just seems that in this kind of issue it would be about explaining to the wife why it is not good to do and then give her the space to improve herself and decide on her own. She will know her husband’s feelings like “I am uncomfortable with this, so please reconsider it.” In this way women would generally be so happy to do what makes the husband happy. But disallowing is too harsh and causes us resentment because it goes against the nature of free will and autonomy. I am from USA and I converted to Islam. Please be kind to me about this issue.
Because hsvand is the authority of the uousehold anx he must enf"orv e sharia according to consensus of scholars on the family membwrs. H1jab is not a choice, but an obligation jist like prayer. So if a husband sees his wife not performimg prayer he must enfocre her to perform, similarly with hijab. Same is the case of a mpther with her children, if tjeu dont pray or smoje she mist stop them bybhand....and mskr them pray aswell.....

Liberal principles of individual choice, female empowerment, and destruction of patriarchy create a society of people who have no family to take care of them in their old age. The liberal feminist solution to this problem is to create more welfare programs. What this means is that they want the elderly to live alone in what are essentially pods, their only human interaction being with "care" takers to check if they're still alive once a week. Let me put it like this. The only human solution is for the elderly to be surrounded by loving family in their old age. The only way to get that is patriarchy, gender roles, and other limitations on individual freedom. But the liberal mind can not allow any of that. So the elderly will continue to suffer, and liberal feminists and modernists will continue to pretend like they care about humanity.
@@taimurahmad uff I am a mother and I feel that modeling and kind guidance are the best way to teach prayer. Forcing pushes people away from love. If I take my kids by hand and force them to pray, it only will darken their hearts. They may look how I want them to but their hearts will become farther away from Jannah.

so is it allowed or not if a woman is covered and just want to sell her products which are halal. I still dont understand what the sheikh meant. How about women that need to provide for themselves due to not having a husband, divorcees, husband being sick, women that work from home, women that have a talent etc. I feel confused this is not explaining enough tho just generalizing and i feel again putting the woman in the box. Women are allowed to work like khadiya ra. Would love to hear a better explanation instead of feeding the man ego again.
There are so many ways you can advertise your product on business online without showing your face… if the bases of marketing a selling point for your product if you… and that consumers must see you in order to buy your product… than that in its nature is haram… people aren’t purchasing cause they need it rather because they get to see you promote it… it’s not really hard to understand. Also if you read more about Khadijah ra she did not show her face nor did she interact with men really to conduct her business she would hire people on the outside to do it for her… hence how she met the prophet ..
Women posting themselves, no matter how much they cover, is haram, even using their voice is not recommended, and it would be haram if they soften their voice
If you want to sell the products u can sell them by just showing the picture of the product only and u don't have to show yourself and that's the point of view of sheikh also.
