@@danm3532 Because there are actual, binding, legal contracts involved in the 'story sales' and NDA's. It's been mentioned several times that 'Dino the Doorman' had a clause in his contract saying that he would owe the Enquirer (or AMI) a million dollars if he violated on his contract. Or did you just mean your question in response to the 'bag of cash' proposal?

34 counts of committing business record fraud to cover up that Trump was reimbursing Cohen for payments made to Daniels to stop her from printing her story. That's a misdemeanor, but because it was done in order to conceal information from the voting public, which is election interference, those misdemeanours are made felonies. The payments also constitute campaign finance violations as an in-kind contribution.

Falsifying business documents. Read the indictment. Use Google. Basically equivalent of using company payroll to pay a prostitute and labeling it "Legal expense " It is legal personally. But 9 of the checks were signed using the business account. So trump was defrauding his investors. If I was only a 3% investor in trump company that $130,000 total payment to the escort would equal larceny. Trump is a disgusting human cheating on his pregnant wife with two different escorts. If you support that disgusting behavior you are just as bad.

They have no defense. They are counting on a procedural error by the Judge. That is the reason why the judge is taking his time. Oliver North got off on appeal. Weinstein just got off on a procedural error. The judge is making sure. The other trump Florida case can basically be thrown out because she ruled on a motion without prejudice. None of trump's cases are being argued about his innocence. His lawyers are just trying to find some procedural error they can appeal on. It is utterly disgusting. They should open with. "My client is guilty but the judge will make a small error that will allow us to appeal it." This man and his family are disgusting
