From JanS Disney1974, Sherpa & Jamie, this brought back memories of my husband and I watching the planes take off & land in Chicago. Our first apartment when we got married was under the flight path just like those homes in your vlog. We moved when a plane got called off of landing and went full thruster to go around again. The apartment shook so hard the things came out of the cabinets! 😅we moved shortly afterwards! Thank You , Jim passed away 4 years ago, I wish I could show him this! Tomorrow is Thanksgiving in the USA, I am thankful that I found your channel a few years ago, you keep me company and always bring a smile ! 🐕‍🦺💙

Thanks for the memories of my Dad. He was obsessed with planes and flying. Most Saturday evening were spent parked on the side of the road beside the Toronto International Airport and watch the planes land over our heads. BTW, my brother became a pilot.

I worked for an aircraft manufacturer for 40 years. My favorite part was going outside to watch our planes come and go on test flights (plus additional flights from the actual airport). I love and miss that.

I love planes, was in Air Force 20 yrs and never tired of seeing planes, but those in housing there must feel it gets loud at times…lol

Oh my gosh Jamie that was just amazing!! I'm the type of person where whenever we pass by the airport, I have to look for the planes coming or going! I have made my husband stop the car a couple of times as well on the highway 😂 I could sit there all day & watch them come & go if I could. There's just something about watching the planes that close & seeing which airline it is. My dad is a travel agent & if I can't tell which one it is, I describe the tail color to him & he can tell right away 😂 Anyway, this was such an amazing video & I loved it!

I love watching these huge jets land. I used to live in Wash DC and they would come so close landing at National Airport, you could see the bolts on the undercarriage of the plane! Have fun

I occasionally have planes fly low (not THAT low!) over my house, if a plane circling before landing. I do on a regular basis get the display planes, including the Red Arrows, fly overhead, when they're performing at a coastal show. They also regularly stop off at Norwich airport to refuel too, on the way to or from a display.

Wow that is awesome watching those huge planes flying that low 🤗 Sherpa is all in 😂. Love you Sherpa and what a beautiful day.

I was taking a flight one day, and couldn't understand why people were standing outside the airport where they didn't usually stand. I got to see the last flight of Concorde out of Birmingham. Oddly emotional, I think I actually cried

Used to drive past here all the time. I turned plane nerd and would know if a certain plane was late 😂

Wow! Sometimes it's the simple things that make the best memories. Hanging out and watching the planes fly low overhead counts. For me it's watching the trains go by or collecting rocks on a hike. Although there's an airport not too far from where I live.

Hi Jaime, you should take Sherpa to the lakenheath and mildenhall USAF bases in Suffolk, as they fly daily and maybe the Mach loop in wales as you would absolutely love it

I could never see myself doing this on purpose 😂 We live just 1 1/2 miles from a major airport, and our house is literally right in the center of the flight ✈️ path of incoming planes. 30 foot tall house, and the planes sometimes almost touch the tree tops in the yard! You can hear the WHIPLASH of air currant about a minute or two afterwards 😅

Many years ago, I lived in a little village called Colnbrook which was right at the end of the runway at Heathrow. In them days Concorde was still flying. It would rattle my windows like mad!! Hubby worked airside on Heathrow and we used to go to the gates on the perimeter road where the fire engines could access. Standing there when Concorde took off was something else. It made all your insides literally vibrate to the point it was unpleasant. On a damp day, if you went outside and held your tongue out you could really taste the jet fuel, nasty. Glad you and the fuzzy boy enjoyed it stay safe x

They did look so very close. Sherpa is the cutest dog ever. He seems to enjoy everything you guys get to do. Of course, he sometimes doesn't look too into it, but he could literally be throwing a fit. And look how patient he was to get HIS meat balls.
