HUSKY Goes To The VET! (She Tried To RUNAWAY) 

Husky Goes To the Vet.
Maya The Husky had an emergency vet visit. I noticed her anus was red and a little bit swollen the other night. I called the vet in the morning and they had me bring her in that morning.
Maya was showing no signs of her anal glands being full. Usually when dogs anal glands are full they bite their butt, lick it, scoot it on the carpet and even have trouble using the bathroom. She showed no signs.
The vet said we brought her in at the perfect timing before things could have gotten worse. I am so thankful I called the vet, even though Maya was acting fine. It's always best to trust your gut!
Maya is now on antibiotics for a week, just to be safe.
We are so grateful this wasn't too serious and will not impact Maya on her everyday life!
