Awww, I thing Key was a bit suspicious/confused with the dog in the mirror at first. But once you told him that it was him and that he was handsome, he looked very pleased with himself. So sweet when Key went over to Nan for reassurance. 🐕💖

This is too freaking adorable! I am so glad that he looked in the mirror. My dog, Sammy, would be completely oblivious. When I am on FaceTime with my goddaughter, Sammy completely ignores the fact that she talks to her as well. And absolutely he has to have extra biscuits. He is now eating for two dogs!

Key is so funny with this mirror. He's mesmerized! I had a kitty cat (Key would call him a meower) who would look at himself in the mirror on my dresser. He'd see his own reflection and also the room behind him, reflected in the mirror. He'd turn around and look behind him, but couldn't quite figure it out. 💖

Key in all his specialness, knows there can only be one like him, So when he was told it was himself in the mirror he knew he was right! Key is quite beatiful as he is gazing at himself, and it was so endearing for him to seek Nan for reassurance.

love how he asks why the door is closed. so funny! I sometimes used to put a mirror in the area we use to have our dog in when he was a puppy, he would cry for attension, and having 'another' puppy (reflection in the mirrow) would help him settle down.

I've done this with my cat since he was a kitten. When I found him he was looking in a glass door meowing at the cat he could see inside. Now he knows that cat he saw was himself. I've even done this with my sister's cat Alexander too. Now they don't freak at their own reflection. I think many cats and dogs are far smarter then their humans give them credit for.

It's so interesting how dogs react to mirrors. (Most pets actually. )Some get it, some don't, and some get it only situationally. ...confused one day, understanding the next, then confused again. Key, was confused, yet he recognized himself on the TV when younger. It's so fascinaing to see "dog logic" in action: What he's thinking, and when. And why!

The fact he doesn't attack or try to play, shows he has presence of self and in a smart boy! However, I still wonder how he'd react to a tiny mirror in back of the clear pane in the front door 😊 OR... what he would do if you tossed a biscuit to the mirror while he's watching... Would he indeed know what's going on? Would he just go after it? Would he get *_jealous?!_* 😮😂
