I can agree with your hoomum, Nook, about the storm. I remember staying up at night to watch a couple of the hurricanes that came to Pensacola, Florida, when I lived there in the late 1980s. (Seeing the same tree struck by lightning at least 40 times was really something!) Too bad about the lead, Nook, but your hoomum wants you around for quite a bit, still. Wonky weather, this year, innit?

Nook, your fluff was blowing in the wind. Sorry you had to stay on a lead, but safety first. Was waiting for you to get blown into the wind like a beautiful fluffy kite. ( Agree, would watch for hours. The waves were incredible. The changes in the color of the water, with and without sunlight, were very noticeable. Plus the sounds of the waves crashing is always a soothing sound.)😊💙💙

This is gorgeous! Your coastline and the sea are my favorite things that Jamie and Sherpa film. This is ALL coast, ALL sea, in a storm which I also love, with a little bit of Nook being totally cute. I loved how he stood halfway up on the rocks to try to see exactly what I love to see. It was clear he wanted to go down there. It would have been thrilling to be there in person. I loved how there were bits of blue sky along with the storm. This is one I'll watch multiple times (always clicking through to the advertisers' websites when they appear! 😉). This is just so beautiful.... just everything about it. If I could transport myself, I would wrap myself up in a big warm blanket and sit up on that hill and watch those waves, listen to that beautiful sound, feel the wind... all day. I couldn’t find Eunice either, but the water sure looked rough! Pure white caps out there. Majestic King Nook was disappointed that he couldn’t do his usual exploring, but with that wind and those waves I think your hoomum made the right decision! He’s such a patient and quiet, rock climbing gentleman our Nook. He knows his own abilities, but he is tethered and that is disturbing his desire for freedom. Even the well abled must yield in the face of the ugly forces of nature. Winds shift and even a strong body will yield. Your loss would be unbearable Nook, not just to your hooman owners, but also to us who view and love you. No one wants to endure that through carelessness. What gorgeous pictures! I felt like I was right up there with you and Nook looking down at the windswept sea. I love a good windy day. Living in the south I am always afraid of the hurricanes and tornadoes that blow our way. We have had to evacuate our home several times. It is alway so very tiring and a little scary. The hard part is the driving with all the freeways packed on both sides all going north and every car packed with people and belongings. Thankfully we have never had any major damage. With tornadoes though, we get very little warning and have to shelter in our closet under the stairs. We can not have basements where we live or underground shelters because the water table is too low. When tornadoes pass by it sounds like a roaring freight train. The wind is a fierce thing. Once we had my husband, mother in law, our big golden retriever and my niece all huddled in the master bed room closet. I started reading a Mrs Polifax mystery book by the flashlight, to keep everyone distracted and to help our anxiety. My dear dog, just layed there as happy as can be and enjoyed being loved and petted. It never seemed to occur to him that anything was out of the ordinary. He was with Alpha and all of his pack in one place and he was content. :) Bless his heart. What a comfort he was to us. That particular tornado passed by a little to close for comfort. But a beautiful windswept day so refreshing. Take care and have a lovely day ahead!

Hello, Nook. Eunice has been along our coast as well but I didn’t see her. Now there’s someone called Franklin blowing on us. Poor Hoomum had to be in the middle of our road picking up her recycled bottles, cans, etc that had blowed away. Not a pretty sight but I didn’t say that. I would bring a b backpack with peanutbutter and jelly andwiches and tea and sit by you all to watch the waves with you and take tons of pictures to sketch at a later time...I would most likely be unable sketch...lol... its amazing we have bad wind sheers come in from canada over the one great lake I live near at times up to 75 miles gusts and wow its beautiful seeing waves roll in but not so good for home owners along the shore as erosion always occurs..I might be able to use some of your video to sketch from I'm gonna have to pause a while...hoping my tablet wont go in sleep mode I like to sketch nook standing up on two different rock outcrops...thank you for walk about and telling us where your walkabout was ..🐩🐕

16 minutes never passed so quickly. Thank you Sue - you excelled yourself with this video and the stills you grabbed. My Cornwall withdrawal symptoms have been eased with this fix of a boiling sea and seeing its power crashing on the rocks. You did incredibly well following the birds in flight without falling over! The whole atmosphere is enhanced by Nook standing and looking out to sea in still contemplation, with just his nose moving! If this was a TV channel I'd have it on 24/7. Big thank yous! I'm saving this one for therapy purposes! x

Hello Nook and Sue, I hope you made it safely home after watching the storm? Some of those sprays were huge. That area is so beautiful and seems so peaceful to just watch and listen to the ocean waves. Nook do you like your floof blowing in the wind? Max says he likes it that it feels like a bit of a back scratching haha. I loved seeing Nook climbing up on the rocks to check things out lol. It seemed like Nook may have been wondering where the beach was with all that water! I'd say you experienced all types of weather possible except snow during this trip haha. That was so crazy that the sun came out a couple of times during all that bad weather.
