The Broncos of Boise State University were visitors at Husky Stadium in Seattle against the University of Washington Huskies in the 2023 home opener on September 2nd.
We arrived early enough so I had enough time to do some IRL recording and explore areas of the university before the game, including the tailgate and Montlake Bridge.
My friend Mike experienced heat exhaustion, possibly heat stroke, causing him to briefly collapse. I was away from our seats getting concessions when it happened, and I didn't know anything was wrong until I returned. He was assessed by the medics and was instructed to hydrate and keep an ice pack on his neck. It was a scary situation for a moment, but Mike's made a full recovery
This game ended up being a complete blowout, and the Huskies took the season opener, 56-19.
