I use mine for essentially hedging and pruning small trees around house. 3” and less diameter. Works well and the weight is nice Would never use it for felling trees
Hang on a minute.. we agreed on the big saw lol. Thanks for warming it up for me.. and thanks for giving me the chance to to purchase off of the best main dealer in the UK..
I've got a 592 and have found that unless you're running a 32" or larger bar in big wood all day its better to put the 8pin sprocket on it.. ups the chain speed and keeps it off the rev limiter speeds up the cut significantly
Love the way you blokes never drop/yo yo start a chainsaw. Always got ppe on as well. Tooo many cowboys on utube who don't give the respect these machines warrant.
This is brilliant lads . I purchased the 572xp recently. What an animal of a saw . Cant imagine what that 592xp is like . What chains do ye recommend for the 572xp. Top class as always 👏
The 592 is as much more powerful than the 572 as the 572 is to the 550xp mk2.. I own all 3 and the 92 is serious! Found it's best to run a 8pin sprocket with anything less than a 32" bar in big wood all day cause it's got plenty of power and that chain speed add from the 8pin really speeds up the cutting so it's not bouncing off the rev limiter in the cut
Enjoyed your show and I really like Husky chainsaws I have a 55 that I've had for 12 + years and it still runs great and a 435 that's awesome. But I just gave the 435 to my brother in-law and need to replace it what would you suggest. And what do you think of Echo saws. I bought a top handle Echo CS 371T and it really runs great. Thank you James A.
how do you guys like the husqvarna forestry helmet? Are the mounts for the hearing protection strong? Asking because I have a stihl helmet I am not very happy with.
Well done guys.. keep up the great work.. I'm from the USA. I was wondering, it Stihl a brand that you have, across the pond? If so I'd really enjoy one of these with a Stihl 120 and then whatever big boy Stihl you choose.. take it easy guys..
Hi Luke, yes plenty of saw in between. 120,130,135,440,445,450,455,545,550,555,560,562, 572, 592. That is pretty much all of the current range. I may have missed one. They are all available on our website if you want to check them out. 👍🏼
Good all around displacement size for most ppl is ~50-60cc with 16-20” bar which would be 450R,455R,460R(farm & ranch series) and 550xp, 555xp, and 562xp(professional series). Ultimately tho, your best bet would be to go to a dealer to let you try them and see which one feels best to you.
This is one lousy 120, the carb is not adjusted well enough and the muffler is stupid design on this one. Mine cuts twice the size faster with opened muffler and carb adjust. Cannot compare those two off course but this little saw is really bogging there.
3120 power head alone is like 23lbs though! That's more than the 592 weighs fully gassed and oiled with a 24" bar/chain! I wouldn't want to run one of those all day that's 4sure
