In terms of the charcoal canister, at least in terms of car it's used to absorb the gas fumes that come off the tank, not actual fuel. And then burns the fumes when the engine idles/first starts via intake. If it was a car and you're getting fuel in the canister it means you're over filling the tank.

OBD is the standard for how it communicates, not the plug. The plugs for yamaha, KTM, BMW etc are all different, u need an adapter to make it work.

Edward John Eyre didn't have an enduro motorcycle, that's why he said it was dreary and cheerless.

With the husky rear tank I would have tried putting a pin size hole in the filler cap.

Many of the newest bikes come with the Euro5 (red) diagnostics connecter but it's hit and miss in my experience. Either way, he probably would have had limited diagnostic capability with that code reader but might have got lucky. Shame there isn't something like a Hex GS911 for KTM/Husky.

What was the Problem? Fuelpump doesn’t work, but why? I heard in many times the switch doesn’t work!

Should of checked the handlebar switch

There was a recall on the LR and they stopped making them because of dodgy plumbing.

Fancy having such confidence in your bike you head out on a trip with two spare fuel pumps 🤦‍♂️

Obd2 is somewhat universal, I work a bike shop that sells Honda, kawasaki, husky, cf moto, kymco, sherco and they all run obd2 but unfortunately they don't all run the same plugs 😑 all the error codes would be pretty much the same

ktm still with the shit fuel pump and internal filter. I removed the internal filter and got a golan external.

See that's how KTM decided to save the LC4's main bearings - they just put in a bunch of electronics that make it randomly stop working. You get so pissed off as an owner that you never make it to the point where the engine would blow up...

As a UK viewer seeing frost on the bike when it's sunny and dry messes with my head. If I hadn't seen the frost I'd say it was a nice summer day. Does it stay cold all day or is it just overnight?

Interested to know how the motor DV front tyre went on the trip?

My 701s fuel pump died after just 10000km. "Ready to repair"... Never buying that KTM crap again.
