Tío, como has quitado el db killer? Según he estado mirando, no es como en otros escapes, tienes que quitar los remaches de la cola para poder tener acceso al pin que lo sujeta y después taladrarlo. Es tanto lío como parece? Un saludo y gran video!
A14Gonzalez muchas gracias!! 😊 jajaja toda la razón... No es nada fácil.. Es la moto de un amigo y lo que hizo nada más comprar el escape fue coger un taladro y con paciencia (y mucho miedo en el cuerpo 🤣) quitar todos los remaches para quitar la cola de carbono y luego quitar el dbkiller, que si no recuerdo mal estaba soldado el tornillo... Colocar de nuevo la cola no fue nada fácil.. el carbono a la mínima puedes romperlo, pero al final quedó un trabajo muy fino y el sonido es brutal. Si vas detrás de la moto siguiéndola un buen rato.. te entra hasta dolor de cabeza, pero mola jaja
javyinthemiddl3 eso es justo lo que había visto, el problema que le veo es volver a remachar la terminación de carbono pero creo que merece la pena por escucharla aunque sea de vez en cuando. Un saludo!
Denham Wright on this bike it's definitely advised although not necessary. I would spend money on a full exhaust and Rottweiler(?) Intake setup and. PCV. Yeah all that is expensive but well worth it to wake up the bike. I should be getting mine soon but not sure yet
If I am not mistaken they sell the Akrapovic Evo Kit for the same price as the exhaust... And it includes an airbox, a mapping mod I think and the exhaust
Lol the audible perception of engine RPM's implies that this engine redlines at like 500 rpm makes me think its somehow powered by a similar engine to that found in a super yacht or something, just idles up to top speed. Interesting exhaust note for sure
This bike is amazing and the new one comes with quickshifter. One friend has the new one and it's very funny to drive. The FS 450 is only for the track I think...
It's a shame, I think most single cylinder bikes sound more or less the same, wether it's a 125 or 690. Not a very nice sound IMO, but I'm still looking at getting a sumo for the fun of it! Nice bike!
Thanks! I haven't ridden it much yet, but I love every minute of it. I think the 690 looks better than the 701 - that being said, I'd take the 17-onwards model 701 with the new engine if price wasn't a factor. Mine is a 2016 model with Akra exhaust, open air filter and K&N filter. Amazing sound and super fun to ride! I looked at 701 too, but found that nearly every bike had stuff fixed due to defects. One had gotten a new odo due to moisture (common), new brake discs (discs, not pads!) due to warping TWO times, new seat because it fell apart, all in one year of ownership... Which kind of put me off the 701. Bottom line I think you'll be happy regardless of which bike you chose, I'd say go for the one you find the best deal on. I'll make a video of my new bike on my channel soon, so stay tuned :)
