Just discovered this guy's channel on a survival knife vid, one thing i can say, is that this man is the type of guy with who u can learn things u won't learn anywhere else. Tac , love your vids bro✋. Jt keep it up 👌👍
If you're worried about hitting the haft of the ax on the wood, give it a paracord wrap just below the ax head. 20-30 feet of paracord give you a good degree of protection, plus, its another way to carry a little paracord. Great vid, love when you post.
Nice! Got one two weeks ago. Regrind and mirror polish is done. Handle is thined and reshaped (both the bottom and up by the head need work). Just a few more coats of oil and the makeover will be done. They're lovely. Get one.👍🌲
Screw you first test branch! I wish I could say she goes all the way to my homies back in the day bro.😆. Excellent little guy. Thanks for swinging again mang.
Tac, i'd love to see a updated video of the OG Bug out spot #2. I was fascinated with it, and still think its one hell of a spot. Cheers for the vids, all the way from Aussie!
I've had that same hatchet for years and it's seen some pretty bad abuse and it's still kicking... I like a little longer handle on my axes so this ain't exactly for me but I agree for the money they're really hard to beat. Great video as always keepem coming brother!!!
I’m tempted to get this after seeing this and having no axe other than my crkt tomahawk as I’m a machete and silky saw type of guy. This seems cooler and better than the friskars axe that people say in indestructible
I mean I have a cheap hatchet and a sog hawk but that is it. I need one, I know but have not pulled the trigger. I will definitely check them out. Just watched Blackie thomas talking about old school outdoor gear. It was built to last. Great review Tac!
I'd go with the bigger one given the choice. Especially if the bigger one costs less. I do understand that when ounces count, lighter is better, but damn. I believe I'd still take out the bigger one anyway.
Pimpin great video that little thing will do some chopping and with the price of gas we need good quality at a budget price but it's like you said if you got the extra money hey have at it. keep on keeping on I enjoy it
I have the camping axe and the hatchet, both awesome tools but u will have too stone the edge on both. Well I did anyway. The camp axe is better in my opinion. I carry my Husqvarna Camping Axe with the hunting knife from Grimfrost. Makes a nice set.
If you like old school stuff you have to try an axe with a vintage style handle! They're thin and flexible. Which helps a lot with shock. The palm swell is also incredibly comfortable. I use vintage handles as templates when I create new ones. Longer handles really up the amount of work you can do with an axe. 25-36 inches is full sized axe to me. Although a boys axe can go on a handle up to 28 inches which is no more than 2.5lbs. Axes are the best timber tool you can swing. I've been in love with restoring vintage and using them for maybe 3 years now.
HAPPY CONSTITUTIONAL CARRY DAY!!! THEY DID IT!!! Great ax work....always good to see you too broskie!!! blast that Sig Sauer for your brother from another mother!!! FREEDOM!!!
Tac man do, have you ever tried the Kubey Raven, its been out a while, but "to me" a great carry, an if you can still find one the black on black is totally a Tac knife, also another two, the Civivi Asticus, again an older one, an the Spyderco Amalgam. All three are fantastic edc as well as pp blades! Love to to see you back bro!
Hey Tac, love these little husqvarna’s. I keep the hatchet one in the back of my truck. By chance have you seen the updated united cutlery m48 hawks. The old ones looked cool but kinda sucked. The new ones look a lot better (handle doesn’t fit the wood when you split) but I’m not sure if it’s full tang. If you like the looks of it I’d love to hear your opinions on it.
I like Husqvarna an granfors, but can't see myself paying too much for a axe,I have gotten into council tools type of axes, there pretty good too,I Definitely love their woodcrafter,on a 24"and a harden pull, for a decent cheap beater axe look at the flying fox,50.00 on Amazon
Tac what's up do some shooting vids love the axe vids review to!!! Dude still like your vids awwww Yeahhhhhh don't forget to show what ya packing my man..TIMM FUCKING BER HELL YEAH
TIM-FUCKEN-BER I FUCKEN LOVE THAT GREAT VID AS ALWAYS but I would personally like to see you do something sword test cutting videos especially with your cold steel products I always wondered why you never did more videos with the swords after reviewing the cold steel katanas
I own a made in the USA right in my home state of North Carolina council tool velvet cut axe. I'm willing to put it up against anything made in Sweden !
