Well it's a couple days until Christmas here, and it's bitterly cold, so I figured I would shoot my "coldest" gun. A modified clone of the Finnish Lahti L35, this Husqvarna M40 was a Danish contract police pistol, and it is one of the few old guns I own that came with a full holster and kit! As for the cold part, this design has big and bulky controls easily manipulated with gloved hands, and an accelerator lever that gives the bolt an extra punch in case there is any ice built up in the action. At -7 degrees F, it certainly ran better than I did. So enjoy and have a Merry Christmas.. or a Happy New... Day... if you are living in the future...
