I have 800 miles on my Expedition and couldn’t love it anymore than I do. Even having not scratched the surface of its capabilities it’s an impressive machine! 🏍💨
Thank you so much for this thoughtful review. I greatly appreciate that. It wasn’t all about just regurgitating specifications and talking about Settings. It was far more about the riding experience, which is the one thing I hope to gain from videos sense often test riding a bike before purchase isn’t an option or is not long enough to really understand the riding experience.
Thanks guys...as I struggle to let go of my trusty KTM 990 0f 15 years, your review and comments give me hope that the 901 is an honest candidate for the kind of back country exploring we love. More electronics and bobbles that I'd prefer, but not a lot of options to avoid that that these days. Well maybe the 800DE with tweaked suspension? Thanks, and hope to get over the pond one days and join you at your festival. Cheers from the mountains and deserts of Utah.
Fantastic review, I honestly hate the look of the standard bike but somehow the little tweaks have totally transformed it to a point where I’d consider owning one.
I know it's probably just me but one of those things that really grinds on me is when people miss pronounce the name Husqvarna!! So many people (no names mentioned) pronounce it as if it were Husk A Varna.....there is no A between the q and the v!! it is pronounced Huskvarna Husqvarna!!! Rant over.
@@Brad-RB I hope you appreciate the irony of your response. You have completely missed what I was saying, read my comment again a few times, it does not matter how you phonetically say it, there is still No A Inthe middle!
This was a very nice and interesting interview. Good job. I liked and subscribed. I had my eyes set on what to buy. Now, this have changed my mind, or at least made me confuesed about what to buy. LOL Y'all guys are both hilarius in how you say Husqvarna. You say it like Americans hahahaha. A short Swedish lesson. It is not Husqa-Varna. Look at the name, there is no A after the Q. Not at all. Husqvarna is named after a city in Småland in Sweden, now it is spelled Huskvarna and is part of a city called Jönköping. Now, just like you have words that is made of several words, like Railroad, Husqvarna is made of the 2 words Hus and Kvarn ending with A is kind of like how you put The before words. So, Hus (long U) - Kvarn - A' . Cheers and keep up the good work
Nice review. I'm worried that this won't be a great 2up bike. Really want the offroad performance since I already have a 501 and want to be able to do some 2-3 day touring with my wife. My other choice is the Tiger Rally 1200 which, but I dread picking that beast up in the sand when I'm doing harder solo adventures. A hard choice since I like them both. Plus I have 32 inch inseam and worry about the cockpit being cramped. If i could afford, I'd buy both.
I ordered mine from marsh mx the day before this was released as I saw some spy shots I thought why not. It’s now already there waiting for me but I’m off to France first on my old bike. I like this review because Alun is a Cardiff fan like me by the looks. (Judging by the mug on the desk) It’s hard work watching the bluebirds atm so my Norden Expedition will be a nice break from that haha
Hey mate, can you please share the exact setting of the suspension to get rid of the headshakes? I just bought this bike and will be arriving in 2 weeks so I would like to fix it up as soon as I get the bike. Thank you very much
🇦🇺 I'm 5'11" tall on a good day. I got to sit on the original 2022 Husqvarna Norton 901. So I'm hoping to be able to sit on the new Husqvarna 901 explosion in the low seat height & hoping it's not to tall. 🤔 It maybe time for me to Gather up some cash 💲so I can enjoy my Sundays bike adventures again. At my age of 56 the year's are getting on & this single lonely life style I'm living is draining my sole from me... 🏍️😶🌫️🇦🇺🌏
