Nice choice sir. I had the same dilemma a few months ago and yes, i choose the Svart200 over the XSR155. Svart200 is 175K while the XSR155 is at 162K, the difference between the two is 13k. So the question would be, how much more can you get with 13k? For me, adding the 13k meant having more performance (200cc), better styling (design, frame, & etc.), Dual Channel ABS and few bits more. Thats how i ended up chosing the Svart200. Ganito ko talga siya inisp, sana makatulong din sayo sir kahit konti or papaano. :)

@@CornerMonkey yes true sobrang lamang yung svart 200 sa performance tsaka kakaiba yung design nya, mas prefer ko din yung konti lang meron na brand/model.. then maporma na yung design and aesthetics (wala na masyado papalitan aside sa side mirrors/full exhaust).. ang problem ko lang is yung availability ng parts and service mechanics kasi nga konti lang meron and maliit na community lang.. ang gusto ko naman sa XSR 155, Iba kasi pag japanese brand sobrang daming parts and aftermarket parts and kabisado na ng karamihan na shops/mechanics.. so madali lang din nya icustomize/modify to any theme you want (scrambler, cafe racer, etc)

Pero actually, marami narin stock pyesa ang Svart200 (pag stock parts) kasi aside from Philippine made siya eh almost same din lang parts nila ng duke200 (except sa fairings). Pagdating sa service, wala naman special service needed ang Svartpilen aside from the usual kaya di naman need ng specific Husqvarna/KTM mechanic para imaintain ang bike (unless sa specific problems related to warranty and etc.) Pero kahit alin sa dalwa ung piliin mo, ok parin, kasi tipid ang XSR155 at pogi tyaka madali i-modify. Performance and pogi din naman ang Svart200. Eitherway, sulit parin silang dalawa tlga sa opinion ko. :)

Thanks 🤙 If we have the same height, there's no need to worry. 😊 About your other question, I went with the 200cc option because of the fuel economy. The bad thing that they did not do, in my opinion, was to increase the fuel tank capacity of the 401. A 9.5 Liter tank is already a tiny bit disappointing or just somewhat average for the consumption of the 200, but for the 401's power you will probably burn fuel very fast and wont even go that far with it. So yeah, i chose the 200 bec. #1 I rarely need to go on expressways and #2 the tank capacity and fuel efficiency of the 401 on a regular daily commute is not great. I hope this helped you in a way. 😅

Also, 401 engine heat is a concern for the 401 esp in Manila traffic. It's still a Duke engine, which isn't that great in dealing with the engine heat for the 373cc. Thanks, great help. RS!

Honestly bibili sana ako ng XSR155 sir, yun talaga first option ko. Pero, nung lumabas yung Husqy eh dun na ako. Pareho silang maganda talaga, no doubt. Pero pagdating sa features, kahit medyo may bias ako, Hudqy ang choice ko. Kung may ABS lang sana yung XSR baka binili ko narin yun dati pa talaga. Ito ay personal opinion ko lang sir ha. Mas bang for the buck tlga yung Husqy sa opinion ko. Pero pereho talaga silang maganda. 😊

Yan din problem ko paps..ang gusto ko sa xsr155 sobrang tipid, rinig ko kya ng 40km per liter (estimate), kya lang walang abs... para sa kin mas naiiba ang ganda ng husqy, mas pulido nung nakita ko sa actual, mas solid pati ang build, at dual abs, kya parang mas inclined ako dito sa husqy, kahit ang fuel economy ay nasa bandang 25km per liter daw.

Yeah im leaning towards Husqy 200 rin... Nakita ko siya sa BGC, ganda ng build quality. Pero mas mabigat at mataas siya compared to xsr 155.

Yes, I believe so. The only difference between those bikes are the fairings and some obvious exterior parts unique to the Svartpilen. Other than that, the engine, almost all electronics, and etc. are similar 😊.

Kung height lang ang usapan lods, kayang-kaya ng 5'3" na height mo tong motor na to. Actually pareho kayo ng height ng girlfriend ko, eh ginagamit niya to minsan pag feel niya 😅 kaya masasabi kong kayang kaya mo yan! Masasanay ka din sa height and weight after a week or two of usage. Pero pagdating naman sa pag-angkas, kasi nabangit mo nga na balak mo iangkas si partner, medyo maiksi lang konti yung tail end ng bike na to kaya medyo limited sa "pwet"-space 😅. I recommend na punta ka sa showroom para masakyan mo ata angkasan mo narin para malaman mo kung viablr ba talaga siiya na option para sayo kung balak m9 mag angkas. Pero yung height concern mo, wala yan, di mo kailangan mag-alala. 🤙

I think there isn't yet, but i believe you can adjust the softness of the rear springs and lower the front suspension by an inch. Other than that, you probably need to wear taller boots or shoes to help.

You will have no problems riding this bike uphill brother. After a week or a day of riding it youll feel very confident using it right away, given your height. :)

@@yogicspace141 The husqvarna helmet is actually the Shark Vancor helmet. Im not sure what helmets are available in your country but i think the THH TT01, Origine Vega, or the HJC V30 woul also look good on this bike.

sir 1st PMS mga 1900, same lang din sa 2nd mga 2500, nagdedepend tlga siya idol kung DIY mo gagawin OR kung magkano ang rate ng service charges ng dealership kung saan mo siya ipapaservice, kaya advice ko sir, inquire kayo sa dealership kung saan niyo balak kumuha para malaman niyo mismo ang mga rates nila pagdating sa servicing

Salamat sir 😅. Sa maintenance fees or pricing, most likely pareho po sila dahil wala naman pong added service na kailangan. Pareho lang po sila ng servicing sa mga KTM bikes. ☺️

Hello sir, thank you for the question. Back then, i was looking for a bike that had good fuel economy and was enough for riding around town, short rides, and maybe long rides once in a while. I chose the 200 because it has better fuel economy than the 401 and i seldom (especially during this pandemic) go on the expressway anyway. Also, the 401 has the same tank capacity as the 200, it would have been better if the 401 had a bigger tank. The 401 is a good weekend bike for long rides, but is not a practical bike for short daily commutes because of the small tank capacity and lower fuel efficiency compared to the 200. Thats the reason why i chose the 200 over the 401. :)

Also, if you are someone who always needs to take the expressway or someone who always goes on long rides and takes the expressway often, then the 401 is better. The 401 will have better fuel economy during long rides for sure.

Although the pillion seat is a little bit short, YES it is still comfortable. When it comes to touring, its definitely possible although i really cant say much as i have not experienced it myself.

Sorry sir, cash lang kasi available sa dealership malapit po saamin kaya po hi di ko po alam yung installment plans para po sa bike. 😅

Pagdating sa performance at handling, pareho sila paps, halos walang pinagkaiba. Ang pinakamatagal ko nang ride sa motor na ito eh 4 hours. Hindi naman sobrang masakit sa pwet kasi sa opinion ko lahat ng motor pag lumagpas ka na ng 2 hours eh may discomfort talaga. Ang masasabi ko lang sa seat, mas comfortable ang upuan ng duke 200, yun lang. Sa price, mas mahal ng 16k ang Svartpilen keysa sa Duke. Sa looks, parehong takaw tingin. Ang nakikita ko lang na lamang talaga ng Svartpilen eh Styling or Design. Dahil konti palang ang meron nito at sabi nga nila mahirap maluma ang mukhang luma na. Luma meaning classic. So kung ako, ang pinaka main selling point talaga ng motor eh ang design. Kung mahilig ka sa Modern Classic na design eh sa Svartpilen ka, kung Modern na Unique eh sa Duke 200. Kahit medyo mataas ng konti ang Svartpilen, bastat 5'2" and above ka eh masasanay ka din. Sana nakatulong paps. 😊 Ilagay ko nalang sa susunod na review ang mga ibang mga tanung ninyo. 😊

Sa likod po pwede palambutin yung settings para bumaba. Sa harap po, nung last kong chineck, parang half inch lang ang max na pwede babaan po eh.

From my experience, i believe they've solved it finally. 😊 It doesn't feel uncomfortable anymore on the side of the legs. Since they moved the exhaust down or below the engine, the heat was drastically reduced. No more "hot legs" in my opinion.

With your height, youll get used to the bike in no time. But with the experience that you currently have, im not that sure actually. Sure, if you have a person who can teach you well and focus on you while you learn. But i usually advise people who are just starting, to get a used bike (2nd hand) first. The reason being, when you start and learn how to ride, your taste and riding preference change overtime. Beginner riders usually replace their first motorcycle a few months or just weeks after their first bike bec. as they learn more about riding, theiy also learn more about what they like. Thats the reason why beginner riders hop to a different motorcycle just after learning how to ride. But hey, who am i to tell you what not to do. Whatever you choose to do, make sure to use proper gear always. I hope this helped. :)

In my opinion, its still possible. You just need to get used to the weight of the bike and how you would handle it during riding and stops. You will tiptoe definitely, but nothing is impossible. 😉

Paps mga average na 23 to 25 km/l based on my usage. 😊

Im wearing a regular Komine mesh glove.

Pagdating sa change oil (w/ oil filter) mga around 1500php (2L) depende sa oil na gamit mo, so ang palit ng oil is every 3000km-5000km. Air filter pag madumi na or somewhere around 7000-10,000km kailangan din palitan, mga 1700php to 2200php depende kung washable. Fuel consumption is naka-depende sa riding style mo kung walwal ba or chill lang pero sa personal usage ko eh 25-27km/l, mas gaganda pa siguro ng konte pag sa patag na lugar.

The ground clearance is more than enough for whatever you want to do on the streets. Ive tried going over really high humps or bumps at fast speeds and it was fine. You will only feel the low ground clearance when you use it off road, going over tree trunks or big rocks. Other than that, the ground clearance is not really that much of a problem. :)

the seat is okay naman po for long rides, pero you will feel a bit of fatigue caused by the riding posture/ergonomics of the bike, just take frequent stops and youll be fine 😉

Sa opinion ko lang po, for beginner riders, i always tell them to buy a 2nd hand motorcycle first. Dahil po, sa unang motor diyan matututunan matumba, magas-gasan, masemplang (di naman sana malala) and etc. in short diyan ka matututo. At usually, pag natuto ka na at nalaman mo na ang gusto mo pagdating sa pagmomotor, ibebenta mo agad yan. Kaya po mas maganda talaga kung 2nd hand or used bike tlga ang kunin for starters. Kasi sa una, di mo malalaman kung scooter ba ang hilig mo talaga, o baka naman manual, semi-automatic, o kaya sports bike, naked and etc. Kaya ang marecommend ko atleast 2nd hand or used na manual kasi wala pang 3 or 6 months ibebenta mo din agad for sure. Pero if money is not an issue, at ok lang na kahit matumba mo itong motor na to, magasgasan at iba pa, and atleast 5'5" above ang height mo edi ok go lang sa motor na to, why not. 😉 Yun ay opinion at payo lang naman. 😊 Sana nakatulong kahit papaano sir.

Kung stock parts availability ang usapan sir, sa tingin ko ay okay naman dahil assembled na siya dito satin tyaka similar parts sila sa mga duke 200/390 platform. Pero usually ung ibang parts hindi siya available on stock, kailangan mo pa ipa-order from Laguna ata sa factory nila. Available parts, pero yung iba eh order basis.

Tipid naman sir :)

Hindi naman siya costly sir, halos same lang sa 150cc na mga motor. Kahit ang Duke 200 eh actually affordable naman sa maintenance, same din siya sa Svartpilen 200. Around 1700 to 2k (oil, oil filter) every 3k to 5k Km depende sa service fee charge ng casa.

@@junliwanag Yun lang sir hehe. Pero kung kukuha ka sir, di naman masyadong ramdam ang maintenance unless umaabot ka ng 3k to 5k odo per month na takbo eh monthly ka talaga. Pero kung umaabot ka ng 5k KM ng mga 2 to 4 months, mag tabi ka lang ng 20 to 30 pesos per day para sa future maintenance. :) Ride safe sir lagi.

Casual riding din ako sir, siguro ang pinaka-mahal na binayaranko sa regular change oil is 2500 pero after 3 to 5 months ako nagpapalit kasi short distances lang din ang ride ko sa Duke man or dito sa Svartpilen. Pero pogi din sir ang XSR155 talga, sulit at tipid sa gas. :)

Ako din sir, ok na sana ako sa XSR pero 😅. Parts availability, kung mechanical and electrical parts eh available naman sir kasi dito yan ginawa kaya may parts din sila. Pagdating sa maintenance, the usual ding lang sir in my opinion (oil, oil filter, air filter, tires and etc.), wala naman siyang additonal gastos aside from the usual bike care maintenance fees. 😉

Ang tallest palang na nakita ko personally na sumakay sir eh 5'9. Sa height na yun eh sakto parin. Try your best sir para bumisita talaga sa showroom para masakyan niyo. Iba parin talaga pag nasakyan mo, mas madaling mag decide kung para sayo ba or hindi talaga. ☺️

Hindi naman mahal ang maintenance niya sir, halos similar lang sa maintenance ng mga 150cc. Kung may difference siguro eh mga 300 to 500 pesos siguro (esitmate). Pagdating sa stock parts availability, the usual order process din sir. Kahit papano assembly factory eh andito na sa Pinas. :)

Inquire lang po kayo sa nearest KTM, Husqvarna or even Wheeltek dealership near you po. I am sure they have this bike or you can order one from them kung wala po sila display. They sell it at 175k nationwide po. ☺️

Meron sa KTM BGC, 2 nasa showroom, meron pa nakatago...mas mabilis naubos yung 400cc variant.

Kayang kaya yan sa height mo sir, kahit wag mo na ilower. Kung talagang gusto mo, i think meron na silang mga linabas na lowered / asian fit na heigt out from the factory.

25 - 27kpl is my personal mileage with the bike. Im still at 1000km so it might change during the next coming days. Also, mileage varies depending on your riding style. Hope it helps. ☺️
