Great video-vlogs man! I just got a 2020 Vitpilen401 and can't wait to get it out but unfortunately our beautiful Canadians roads are still full of snow. Definitely wish I'd be living in warmer climate lol. 🤙
Wow! So glad I found your content. I have been researching and viewing tons of vids on the Svartpilen 401 and to hear you talk about this one this way is really reassuring that one of these is definitely the right choice for me. I prefer the upright stance (the wider handelbars) and the knobby tires of the Svart but they are basically the same bike otherwise (kinda). Thanks so much for these great videos man! Great work! Seriously! PS I recognize all the streets in your rides, it's my backyard also.
Thanks for the videos. Helped us make an informed decision. We just bought four 401`s last week and just love these bikes. Riding the same streets as you are, so we may see you out there, Thanks again! Super informative!
I have owned a handful of bikes and because I usually ride cruisers, my 2019 Vitpilen 401 feels the fastest. That's right, I've owned a Scout with 100hp and the Vitpilen 401 feels faster. You can takes turns so much faster than my Honda's, Harley's, and Indian's. I've also never accidentally did a wheelie on any of those like I have the 401. I hear the 701 is a wheelie machine.
Bought this bike to learn on about two weeks ago. How long did it take you to shift that fast? Gears don’t really “click” on this bike. I feel like I’m literally on the street!
Just brought a Vitpilen yesterday, it arrives next week, the low clipons worries me but thinking of getting 3 inch raised clipons which might make it more beginner friendly? vitpilenforum.com/forums/topic/vitpilen-clipon-risers/
I’ve been very tempted to change the bars, essentially converting it to a svartpilen. But don’t let them worry you, you will enjoy the look and feel. If you find you want to go on long trips, then it might be a good idea to consider them. Congrats!
@@ForeverARide Cheers mate The raised clip ons raise them a bit but not as high as the Svart, sort of in between so you dont have to lengthen the wires, or thats what im hoping.
Im going to get a Leo Vince LV-10 slip on and possibly a cat delete pipe for mine, ill see how it sounds with the slipon first but from vids ive seen the single thumper sounds pretty good uncorked. @@ForeverARide I see the LV-10 comes in Stainless steel, Black and Titanium, not sure what color would go best with the 2020 colors perhaps Titanium is closest to the bronzy accents
Leo Vince slip on is $200, and you can get a cat / silencer delete pipe on eBay for $60. Will sound great and drop ~8-9 lbs. (Installing mine next week.)
