"I'm going to play until completion." You have no idea how long of a verbal contract you just signed.

. Basics: Your health, Radiation level, ammo, and weapons are shown at the top. The health, ammo, and weapons are self-explanatory but the radiation level increases every time you pick up the right amount of radiation, which is dropped after killing enemies. You do not need to reload, however, certain weapons have a wait time between every shot, making you unable to spam them. After leveling up your radiation level, you have a perk/mutation that you can pick at the end of the level. Some character's special ability (right-click) is really useful so please don't forget about it!. Weapons: Balance your weapons: If you already have a bullet type weapon, go for a different type (such as energy or shells) as if you use 2 weapons with the same ammunition use, you will easily run out of ammo, leading to your demise :) You also pick up 2 weapons with 2 different ranges as if you have both with short ranges, you are vulnerable to enemies that can destroy you at long ranges (and vice versa *Long ranges vulnerable to short range enemies*), So make sure you use a long range and a short range. Keep weapons with different fire rate. If you already have a burst or assault weapon, think about using a single fire weapon. Assault weapons balance out with shotguns. As well as lasers with crossbows. Mutation combinations: DO NOT JUST PICK RANDOM MUTATIONS THAT YOU THINK ARE GOOD AND PICK UP YOUR RADIATION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! DO NOT LET THEM DESPAWN! Sometimes these are very crucial to your run and if you pick the wrong combination, you ded boi. So before picking a mutation, think to yourself; Will this expand my characters abilities? Will this improve the weapon I'm relying myself on? Would this mutation make up for my weaknesses? This would significantly improve the length of your run. *Remember! dying is good so don't fuss yourself over it. It will help you learn as your a noobie.* Other stuff: (Spoiler stuff) You can leave the experience bottle for 2 whole levels to fight a character called horror, (be careful though because he is tough). After you kill the character, you unlock him. It also gives you a lot of radiation. You can also keep a screwdriver and go to the junkyard (you enter after 4 levels). When you find a golden-lined car and hit it with the screwdriver, you can use it to travel to a YV's mansion which unlocks him. There are golden weapons there and if you keep one and leave the level with it, it saves it for that certain character and it haves that golden weapon spawn with you whenever you start a new run. You can also leave a weapon chest (the red one) for 2 levels, so on the third level, it gives you 3 instead of one.

Oh my gosh. This is one of my favourite games of all time! I love this! Such a fan of Hutts and Nuc Throne and those combined are even better!

So I got this game a couple months ago. In his first run, Hutts used 4 guns I’ve never even seen before, beat a boss I haven’t even seen before, went to an area I haven’t even seen before and unlocked two characters I didn’t know of yet. mfw

hutts, you talked about builds. this is some builds that I find awesome, if you want. 1. eyes, with throne butt and euphoria. just neo from matrix, stopping bullets in the air. 2. eyes and a good melee weapon. bonus if you get the shovel with trigger fingers. 3. melting with throne butt and maybe impact wrists. Rhino skin as a bonus. you can just kill 1 enemy and spam right click and boom, everyone is dead. 4. rebel (character that you currently don't have, but oh well) with blood lust, lucky paw and second stomach. 5. any character (but preferably eyes) with gamma guts and scarier face. THIS IS THE GOD BUILD.

To get far easily, don't kill people on 1-1, collect the 3 (or 4) containers, and kill Big Bandit in >10 seconds. It's a skip, which takes you to 1-? and spits you out at 3-3. And good mutations for survival are Rhino Skin, Strong Spirit, Rabbit Paw, and Boiling Veins.

Green stuff is exp and it dissapears after a while so pick it up.

this was actually a really good first run. I liked how you experimented a bit as you went along. You also accidentally did the right thing to get to the jungle by accident and rerolled last wish for something better. This is honestly impressive.

Remember how many shots of different weapons you need for each enemy. If you use high damage shot on weak enemy his corpse will fly further.

I've been interested in this game for awhile. I'm looking forward to learning about it along with you!

the IDPD showed up because at the end of the jungle level, the portal opened up an IDPD ammo chest. They also get summoned by Lil Hunter when you break line of sight from him, this is a good chance to attack, since he doesn't shoot while summoning minions.

Hutts... YOU HAVE MADE MY MONTH! Why did it take you so long to get this?

The first thing I thought when I saw this was "I can't wait to see Hutts get shredded by Lil Hunter" I was not dissapointed

Tips for hutts: screwdriver can fix the special car on 3-1 fish can roll melting is basically the lost miss the first 2 rad canisters (those green jars that give you rads) and something special happens strong spirit is the best mutation. police spawn when you activate a statue in 3-2, and 5-2. they also spawn when you open a blue chest

Tip, if you leave the weapons chest (red boxes) unopened for a few levels you will get a mega weapons chest which will have more weapons and better weapons. Note: there is a counter in the background for this trick, if the chest is open via you walking over it or when the portal opens the counter will reset.

Hey Hutts, a few pieces of advice for Nuclear Throne that I think you'll find some use out of: In this video, you took Disc Gun, which is one of the worst weapons in the game because it's the only non-explosive weapon that can kill you. There are a few secret areas that can be accessed be doing certain things in certain areas. The least spoilery one I can hint at - other than the Jungle, which you found - is the Pizza Sewers, which can be uncovered if you have an explosive weapon in the regular sewers. There's also a special character that the first step to unlocking requires actively avoiding rad containers - the green capsules you find each level. You'd usually not do this in regular gameplay, so I'm providing this starting step and you can probably figure out the rest. The game also has two different endings, but I highly recommend only checking how to get the second one after beating the game regularly for the first time, because the second ending is more obscure to obtain. Also as a minor afterthought after writing this comment after rewatching your frustration at dying to Lil Hunter: Lil Hunter will only spawn when you start moving on 5-3, to my knowledge he is the only boss that does this. During this time I recommend crying and cursing out Lil Hunter because he can go fuck himself.

Protip: the tips on the loading screens are always true. I'm not joking. They actually are.

Use the screwdriver in the golden-red car. It's a secret level. PS: I didn't get nearly as far on my first run. Got shit weapons though and i played the Vita version which is harder for pretty obvious reasons.

Some tips If you want them Just like you said, this game is "go in or go home", ammo/hp drops disappear after some seconds so if you want them you need to get close to the enemies or kill them so you can get there safely. You get more ammo drops if you are low on ammo (And less If you are high on ammo), this counts for both the weapon you are using and the one in your pocket. Ammo drops can become HP drops If you are not full HP (so having more ammo drops also mean more HP drops), And the lower HP you are, the higher the conversion to HP you'll get. On Boss rooms, try to clear some space so you can learn the attack patterns of the Boss. Most of them aren't that deadly by themselves, they Just add to the craziness of the level. Melee weapons can destroy and/or deflect enemie projectiles so you have more safety when going all in. There's a Car that is different in 3-1 (First floor with the crows guys), It looks broken, but there's something that *can fix it*.

Hi Hutts, i love this game, here's a few quick tips for you (no spoilers i promise): 1. As you maybe saw, there are no i-frames, not even the shadow of i-frames 2. Ammo preservation is REALLY important in this game, if you find yourself with no ammo you're dead. 3. Green stuff is radiation, try to take as much as you can without risking your life, it fills the container on top-left and when it's full you gain a level and you can choose 1 of 4 mutations in between levels. 4. Try to read and learn what mutations do, even online, because some are good, some are decent, some are situational and some are really really bad. 5. DON'T GET BAITED BY ITEMS [cit.] 6. Beware of toxic and explosive weapons, expecially toxic weapons. Hope i was helpful, good luck for your sanity :)

Very nice first run. It took me like 5 tries to get through level one. Though I'm not sure how the balance is now since I played it like a year and a half ago.

Some bosses will activate after a certain amount of time, others will activate upon you takin a certain action. Big bandit spawns after a certain amount of time. Trying blowing up manholes, and skipping weapons chests.

I haven't seen someone be bad at this game in a long time, I'm actually really looking forward to this. Was asking myself why I never got an old Nuclear Throne video by Hutts recommended. Didn't realize you hadn't played it yet.

This game is basically... Hardcore mode enter the gungeon＋binding of isaac... There are 2 main features in my opinion that determines how you continue the game. The green stuff is mutation, or XP, whenever you leveled up in a stage, you can choose a mutation you want. Suggested mutation priority is: SURVIVAL No. 1, Attack No.2 And, most of the mutations in this game has its unique purpose, probably the description sounds bad (Like trigger fingers), but it turns out to be my favorite mutation in the game after 50 hrs and some google searches. The second stuff is weapons, but most of the good guns depends on the mutations to maximize its true power. One example is energy melee with long arms / lazer brain. And, I hope the above content didn't bring any spoiler, and have fun!

hey eyes is a really good melee character, his telekinesis slows down enemy bullets AND pulls enemies closer to you. Melee can also hit through walls btw, so it's really good

First off, for your first run, you did absolutely amazing, lil Hunter is one of the main Hurdles in this game. Here are some tips: - Always try to collect the green Stuff, it‘s your Experience. - I think Crystal is by far the best Character for Beginners, since you can just Right click to become (almost) completely Immune to Damage for a short time, and you start with more HP. - Don‘t be discouraged by dying, you die a lot in this game, and you die REALLY quickly. - Think about your Mutation Choices. Some are really important, and some are completely useless In certain Scenarios. My Main Mutation recommendations are: Strong Spirit, Second Stomach, Rabbit Paw, Gamma Guts, Boiling Veins, Long Arms (If you have a Melee Weapon) and Bolt Marrow (If you have a good Bolt Weapon) - There are six Types of Weapons: Melee, Bullets, Shells, Energy, Explosives and Bolts. Try to carry Weapons with different types or you‘ll run out of ammo quickly. - Melee Weapons are great (Except for the Screwdriver), because they can block/reflect Bullets, they (Usually) Don‘t use Ammo, they (Usually) have great DPS, and they tend to be great at getting you out of Sticky Situations by being able to kill multiple close Enemies next to you quickly. I recommend always trying to carry one with you. Some great Melee Weapons are: Shovel, Sledgehammer, Jackhammer, Energy Sword (Best Weapon in the game IMO), Energy Hammer, Energy Screwdriver and Lightning Hammer. - The Best Bullet Weapons tend to have a really fast fire Rate and very High DPS, but also High Ammo Consumption. Use them Sparingly or in Combination with the Recycling Glands Mutation. Some Great Bullet Weapons are: Bouncer SMG, Bouncer Shotgun, Minigun, Double Minigun, Hyper Rifle, Heavy Revolver, Heavy Machinegun and Heavy Assault Rifle. - Shells are mostly Shotgun-Type Weapons. Shotguns tend to be good at clearing crowds of Enemies Quickly, and Sluggers deal High Damage to a Single Enemy. Some Great Shell Weapons are: Auto Shotgun, Auto Flame Shotgun, Assault Slugger and Gatling Slugger (Third Best Weapon IMO) - Energy Weapons tend to have Decent Damage and Piercing Shots. In combination with the Laser Brain Mutation, they can reach very High DPS. Some Great Energy Weapons are: The Energy Melee Weapons from Above, The Laser Rifle, The Plasma Cannon, The Super Plasma Cannon, The Lightning Pistol, The Lightning Rifle, the Lightning SMG and the Lightning Shotgun. - Explosives are... Self-Explanatory. They tend to have decent DPS and are pretty good at crowd control, but they‘re risky, even more so if you don‘t have the Boiling Veins Mutation. Some great Explosive Weapons are: The Jackhammer, The Grenade Rifle, the Grenade Shotgun, the Auto Grenade Shotgun, The Gatling Bazooka and the Nuke Launcher. - Bolt Weapons are usually High Damage and Piercing. In combination with the Bolt Marrow Mutation, their Shots become Homing. Some great Bolt Weapons are: Auto Crossbow (Second best Weapon IMO), Heavy Auto Crossbow, Super Crossbow, Seeker Pistol, Seeker Shotgun and Splinter Pistol.

The illuminati shrine from enter the gungeon is a reference to a character and a floor in this game, even the ability it gives you is straight from him. Also PICK UP THE DANG XP BEFORE IT DISAPPEARS, also the little icons below your guns are the ammo typs and amounts

track, conserve, and diversify your ammo. Some weapons use ammo more slowly than others, others use a lot (like the triple machine gun and the super crossbow). The crossbow is one of the best basic weapons in the game. you can pretty much use it up through world 7, especially if you get the bolt marrow mutation.

You did amazing for your first run! Tips: -try to book it for medkits and the green stuff (rads) -don't shoot the shrine in the scrap yard yet (it's not that good) -lil hunter will kick your ass

Your own weapons can hurt you as well, explosives and discs will hurt you. Also bolts hit the hardest along with certain melee weapons. you can right click with each character and use their ability, and certain characters can only be achieved in certain ways There are three secret floors that i know of if youd like to know what they are continue reading Get a grenade launcher and blow up the sewer drain on the rat floor Also take a screw driver and hit a red car with golden trimming on it, you saw it in the video,goldengunsspawn there and the character you play and get one with will have the option to spawn with After the big dog fight (boss on the floor after the rat area) there is a portal, that you hit till the middle disappears then fill it with the exp from enemies, then you will go to an area with crowns and they benefit them on future runs Hope this helps! If youd like to know anything else i may have the answer.

I love that he's playing this, I played this way before I had every even heard of isaac and that's how I got into hutts.

just fyi, strong spirit doesn't just prevent death once; everytime you lose a charge of it, you regain a charge by reaching a new area and getting full hp. it's easily one of the best mutations in the game

In the sewers, you'll sometimes see a unique manhole cover. If you blow it up with an explosive weapon it will reveal a secret level

Alright I'm already expecting a ton of comments like this but i'm just gonna explain some game mechanics here. FLÄSHYN! First off - Mutations and Level ups. Don't think you noticed but the little green sticks (called Rads) contribute to your level ups. Every time you level up, after entering a portal you can choose a mutation. Your level and rad count are next to your health bar Oh yeah and whenever this game says "reload" its how long it takes for you to fire between shots Ammo Classes! Bullets - Pretty standard shot type. not usually anything crazy. Shells - Lower damage but thrive off of group fire Bolts - Slow but high damage precision (usually) if the shot kills it pierces. Explosives - Risky but high damage weapons. (unless it doesn't actually fire explosives) Energy - These weapons run out of Ammo FAST. They mostly vary in terms of mechanics but at later levels can be crazy good. and melee weapons exist - if its not a screwdriver it probably deflects bullets, and are generally a mixed bag, I recommend picking up a good melee if you wanna keep a weapon that eats ammo Speaking of which- As you progress through the different levels of the game the Item pools get better (with the previous items still there too of course) However it isn't that these items got more likely its they literally got added to the item pool. So stuff like the Hyper Rifle wont show up until the Crystal caves, but be actually impossible to get on 1-1 some small tips STRONG SPIRIT IS GOOD BUT MISLEADING - When you would normally die it puts you at one health, using up Strong Spirit. It can be recharged by recovering to max HP and finishing the level (at that max hp of course). Secret stages are crazy specific i wouldn't blame you if you had to look them up ( and they always skip a stage ) stages always progress the same way every run, the layouts are the only thing different there's always one transitional stage after every 3 normal stages One last thing - and I know you already pointed this out but, You CANNOT play this like Gungeon and Isaac due to its fast and in your face structure Although I do think you will adjust the more you play as you understand some more game mechanics. Overall I hope you have fun.

Hutts so generally you would want to take mutations that effect your survivability or one that makes you weapons have a bonus of some sort I.E. Strong Spirit or Bone Marrow Also the little green things are rads which act like the leveling system, so the more rads you get, the faster you level up and can get a mutation

When you find a screwdriver before or in scrapyard (the place after sewers and before crystal caves) take it and try to find a broken red car. Hit it once and then you can ride it. Do it and show your reaction, because im sure it will be great.

The crystal is a strong beginner character since he has more hp and a shield that reflects bullets but stands still while doing so. Also, get the bouncy bullet mutation whenever possible.

Hutts! Playing aggressively will help you to collect ammo and rads (rads are the green sticks, and will level you up). Also, picking up an ammo mutation or two will help a lot. Finally, Strong Spirit is probably the single best mutation in the game, as it is almost guaranteed to save you in a bad situation, thanks to it giving you some invincibility when it triggers.

If you see a gooish container, let it take a nap for 3 weeks then you must wake it up for school. ;)

There are these blue chests that when you open them the police show up, it just so happens that the portal opened it for you,and the shrine at the second stage of the junkyard when unlocked it spawns the police, snd when you destroy the thing when its fully green from those little green rectangular things (rads, a.k.a exp that can fade away) and give you a crown, oh yeah you need any type of screwdriver and search for the car with golden bits on the ceiling and hit it with the screwdriver to get a gold gun and get aa new character

On the first level if you run through, don’t kill anything and open all chests and rad vial, a boss will appear, kill him and if you kill any other enemies during the fight you don’t get the special secret level

Have a recommendation: When you get to the "long room", do NOT stand on the red carpet. Stay at the sides. And also,I recommend to have a melee weapon,like a shovel,hammer,sword. Oh and if you get the screwdriver,you have to hit the golden car in the dumpster.

When I saw Hutts meeting lil hunter I started laughning. Literally.

Best piece of advice I can give you is to pick the mutations for the build that you want to have, not necessarily the build you have at that moment. Once you get a feel for the game and figure out which weapons you like and can stay alive for extended periods of time, you're going to eventually run into the weapons that you want to see, hence picking mutations for the build that you want. One more thing, don't get greedy with pickups and radiation, it's best to leave pickups and rads behind if they get you into a position that is either dangerous or puts you at a general disadvantage. You can get more rads and pickups later, just stay alive and don't forget to bob and weave.

Hey hutts I wanted to give you some pro tips that I learned while playing 1. Avoid getting hit at all costs 2. Use screwdrivers on golden car 3. Use explosives on mannhole covers 4. Only losers die 5. Fish can roll

Yeah the game is pretty hectic at times, but it is really great :D non BSG Tips: remember that unlike Gungeon your starting weapon has no unlimited ammo, remember to use your characters ability, to conserve ammo take 2 weapons with different ammo types (if possible) btw great progression on your first ever run! can't wait to see more of this :)

For beeing the first run, DAYMN THATS SO WELL DONE HUTTS! Keep going at it! U did so Well!!!!! Btw try screwdriving the yellow tinted car In the crow-And fire area.

TIP: Portals to the next level appear instantly after the last enemy is killed. The portal WILL suck you in when you get close so try not to get too close if you are not done looting.

The weapons ammo type you are currently useing as you hold out a weapon and open an ammo chest will guarantee ammo for that type unless it full, then it will give random ammo type

A: The blue box spawns "police" units but gives alot of ammo B: Lil hunter spawns "police" units

Once a portal spawns it sucks up all the guns near it and opens nearby chest. Where the police spawned there was a blue chest that was opened by the portal and whenever that specific chest is open the police become angry

So for starters, here are some tips: AMMO CONSUMPTION: Take your aim, do not waste any ammo unless you can afford it. RADIATION COLLECTION: Always go for the greens. try not to lose them . They are your level ups Generally dont touch any enemy. No dodge rolls in this game. Youll be dying a lot early on

I'd suggest playing crystal as her ability is probably one of the best at first, but it does make the game pretty easy when you get good at it.
