From Montreal and formed in 2013 the Huu Bac Quintet weaves Vietnamese and Chinese heritage and culture with jazz through instruments as unique as the dan bau (vietnamese monochord), erhu (chinese fiddle), quena (andean flute), and as ubiquitous as the jazz guitar.
