this whole production idea is fantastic, and Dmitri is totally incredible as two characters. utterly sucks you right in. will watch i t many many times.
^Thank you for this unique recording...Yes, Mozart is and remains unique. I have been living as a stone sculptor in Vienna for 17 years and I am very satisfied...Except for a few small things, for example the shameful poor funeral at St. Marx Cemetery in a mass grave of the former music super star who made millions of people happy with his music during his lifetime and to this day. Nevertheless, best regards from Vienna!
Incredible, I didn't know of this film, read about it in an interview of Dmitri, thank you so much for posting it, I will be watching it day after day, having an incredible company with the most incredible Dmitri, beautiful, young, his velvet voice so much becoming for Mozart, his body well trained in acting and posting and over all - that incredible smile!!! THANK you again!! P.S. Why did he abandon Mozart so early in his career and devoted so much to Verdi? Maybe because there are strong feelings and passion and drama in Verdi, he wanted to experience extremes through the lives of Verdi heroes, I guess.
@@micheleguillerez5915 Hello Michele, haven't heard long from you. Whatever Dmitri sings is absolutely wonderful - and we miss him so much. Luckily, we have the recordings, films, interviews
Thank you so much! How hard it is to find really good videos of opera performances, and you did it! Your work is a gift. You would never be acknowledged enough for what you've done.
I remember watching this years ago on PBS. I'm not sure if I love it or hate it. Regardless, it certainly left a lasting impression on me, and Dmitri is a wonderful baritone.
thank you so much for finding and uploading this treasure for all of us who could not have found it otherwise nor had been witness of the live performance! I just wish I could listen & watch the whole film, if available!
