I have the Q990C paired with my S90C 77". Got both for my birthday during black Friday deals list year. My family and I love it. The sound is the best we've heard. Great review!! Really enjoyed it.

Don't use the sound bar and TV. Completely disrupts the sound bar timbre with the crummy TV speakers.

Hello. I know this soundbar only has 2.0 HDMI ports. So, can you tell me if I lose Atmos and DTS-X sound quality connecting the Q990C on E-ARC Oled C3 and my PS5 on the Oled C3 HDMI input ? Sorry about the english mistakes. Here from Brazil. Thanks!

I ended up buying this because Samsungs software update ended my old multi room system surround sound, must admit it’s awesome watching Drive to survive and England in the Euros last night and was blown away.

Hi Justin, when it comes to connectivity are there any Battery powered speakers that can be paired with this soundbar. Unfortunately I don't have the power outlets to support the surround speakers at the back of my setup so I have used the surrounds as front speakers. Cheers.

Great review. I´ve got one and I just love it, my living room shakes when I'm watching films, it's just brutal! Too bad I can't use Alexa through the soundbar like we can with the Q800A. Hope in the future with some updates it allow us to use it.

@@justincopeland4613I´ve set it up through smarting things but I can´t give commands like "alexa turn on the lights" only to turn on the soundbar and increase or decrease volume. Are you able to give more commands?

I have a 2021 samsung qn90a… it does who q symphony but is that version 3.0? Are these versions updatable thru firmware? I have my q990c sound bar hooked up to it.

I don't believe so but you will still get Q-Symphony, I would try updating the tv though.

I have just bought the 85inch Samsung QN90C tv , this sound bar will definitely cover some of my screen at 2-7 inches high.

Thats tough, since you went with an LG TV then I would say the S95 or JBL. I really like the rear battery powered detachable speakers!

Is this worth the extra money over the 990b. From what I have read, it’s the same exact hardware with slightly better software for $600 more.

If you already have the 990B its probably not worth the upgrade. But if you have anything else its a bigger upgrade.

Yes, and no you shouldn't have to do anything extra unless you have a really weird room layout.

Just ordered this bad boy. I honestly didn't think it was possible for a soundbar to rival large speakers like the Sony HT -A9 but I think it makes sense when you think about how there are just so many speakers bouncing sound around the room. Can't wait to try it out when it arrives!

What kind of tv do you have? If you have a newer samsung TV then I would go with the Samsung so you get Q-Symphony. If you dont then you might want to try the JBL. They are both really cool!

Dolby atmos will work with one plus tv?? I heard many features wont work..i am aware about q symphony wont work...also this model is discontinued in india..but i am getting at very cheap price now. As its in the showroom demo piece.. shall i go for it?

Nice! did you pick it up from your favorite online retailer Walts TV?! And as far and wall mount brackets I don't think they make a separate kit. I would go with something generic like this - a.co/d/go5U68r or find something that has the correct threaded screw, maybe with some sort of articulating arm to move it around. Atleast thats what I would do!

Hi i have just bought this soundbar , I am hoping to ise it with my projector nebula cosmos laser 3 , my question is whst would be the best way to connect it please, the projector only has one hdmi and I'm hoping to run 4k blurry player through it , so can yoy please advise me the best way to get the sound working properly , kindest regards pete

you can run the blue ray thought the other HDMI on the sound bar. but does that projector have HDMI ARC? if not does it at least have optical?

Hi I have checked and this is what it has , I really appreciate your help It has arc not not earc-i don't know what that means . Projector has the one hdmi The 4k blu ray has a couple and the sound bar has a couple , I want to run them all at same time to watch dune 2 in atmos as soundbar is atmos and not sure which way to put cables . Sorry I'm not mega tech smart

On this model yes, the 910 connects through traditional red black speaker wire that connects to a box that is AC. So either way you need to find power! Not that I know of, you can always have those issues with anything wireless but this set specifically is quality in my opinion.

Hi, I M Amir From PAKISTAN. I Buy Samsung Q990C soundbar just 2 months ago. Last time on the soundbar and sho the msg on bar screan UPD and soundbar is off and just 1 orange Light is on and no any working. I m verry worried about the soundbar. I m going to 3 difrent sights Samsung service centers. Samsung enginears said me this soundbar is imported Item and we are no resolve this problem sorry. 1 enginrear said to me maybi main board ic damege butt this main board is not repairable. I m verry worried. Samsung is best brand butt this soundbar is verry expensive and Quality i think verry low. What i do. Any person pls help me. Or Samsung help me. I trust samsung brand butt this is not fear. In PAKISTAN Samsung service centers and helpline not any help mo just sai to me SORRY. What about Sorry. If not resolve this problem close the all Samsung srevice centers in PAKISTAN. Why open the Brand name Samsung service center in PAKISTAN.
