This exact fireball jr. Fairmont is one of my favorite hotwheels cars because I have fond memories of a really abused one (was still fast) that was left with an old track in the basement of the town church i went to when i was really young, i would sneak off and play with it, but i always left it there so i had a car at church for when my parents wouldnt let me sneak one in! I went back to find it when i was older and sadly it was long gone, probably went to a rummage sale when they remodeled the old church. Still hope she found a good home
XJ's are still 94 cents in the store. However generally they are no where near elite in speed. However FTW just happens to have the fastest one on the planet! 🔥
@@yournightmareracing1754 I showed in the outakes it was frustrating me in the day when I took it out of the case. Not sure why maybe temperature change? Everything changed at night it started ripping off times I knew it could produce. Everybodies track is gonna be different I feel like mine gives the lighter cars a chance
@@forthewindiecastracing5964 I'm thinking you are right about the track and temp having MUCH impact on a castings performance. Your track is a hard and polished surface where most tracks out there are the softer plastic Mattel HW's track. Great now we all are going to be buying durometers. Haha!
It would be awesome if you sent your XJ to Diecast 64. He has 'Hot off the Shelf' races. He measures speed and time electronically against other entries.
I don't know about sending orange crush I'm kinda attached to it. I might start sending customs though. I just made that chrome Nascar w fte wheels it runs freaking good
Sorry I mistakenly deleted Michael D.'s comment, But you're right I got it off eBay. Not really sure if it's elite? Maybe send it to diecast64 since he runs so many of them. Hope you get the next one.
They both like Ln1 a lot. Fairmont ran it's best time of 2.055 and Jag ran it's best time of 2.051. Jag has run faster than that though previously which is insane for plastic base.
First time seeing your channel after hearing Bo from your nightmare racing talk about it. Great races and great setup. I'll definitely be subscribing. What are the specs of your track?
It's about a scale quarter mile or about 21' and about 35" drop, lanes just a tad wider than standard hot wheels track. Thanks. I need to make some more content, cars are piling up around here.
