It's an absolute no brainer cross hairs all day long, gives us more of a feeling we are with you. Half grown rabbits they had just come off mums tit, but you are right if the farmer does not want them they must go. Good video thanks!

Informative video once again mate. Cross hairs for viewing from me too. I enjoy seeing the shot placement from every angle the head of the rat, rabbit, squirrel or corvid as you learn to adjust you're own aiming points, when facing quarry doing pest / vermin control. Great video, that's a really nice rifle and a springer, looks a lot different from what I had, and more modern looking from a BSA meteor, I loved it, scoped and silencer, nice shooting, keep the crosshairs👍👌😀
Cheers Simon 👍, I should explain that, the pard has the option of turning off the time stamp which doesn't record the cross hairs. The cross hairs are visible on the pard but not the recording
I guess the springer type rifle is less faff (not having to repressurise a bottle) than PCP but perhaps less effective in terms of rate of fire and quietness?
Great vid buddy, It’s good to see the HW97 earning its keep, as for the crosshairs display, I much prefer to see them on vids, I think it gives the viewer a better 1st person perspective. I wish a few other RU-vidrs would display the crosshairs 😉

I'm just curious what people here would think of this rifle if they offered a gas piston version? I'm broke so I shoot a Gamo raptor with BKL mounts (ridiculously good mounts by the way) and a UGT scope, I'm surprised by the groups I can shot with this setup. I've used some springers in the past and know about the weird recoil they create, I know it's not an exact representation of a good springer, but in general they were the same feel as this would be. Kinda twangy. I love the IGT that Gamo has; Its smooth, consistent, and light.
If I wach yours and other pest control videos from England ( VerminHuntersTV) I really thinking ....why other countries, specially US ( not anyone ) are so afraid to use lower powered air rifles !!!? If they shoot pests at more then 50 yds they want . 30 cal ! Because shut placement don´t matter . I like sub 12 shooting with my HW 77k´s ( .177/ .22 both down tuned from 17/18 fpe ) !! Smoother and more "forgiving" shooting because of the lower "double recoil" !!! Thanks for sharing your vids !!
Some people want more power to compensate for poor shot placement. I've watched some other rat shooting channels and some are so barbaric I don't think they should be allowed to hold a gun. Uk shooters want clean humane kills all the time, accidents happen to all of us but some like to see animals suffering 😢
@Wolverineverminshooting I've got a 177 and am ordering in a hw97 blue laminate in the next couple month but I was slightly torn clearly the slightly heavier pellets do the same job as what people say only the 22 can do think this has helped me make my mind up
