Loco said he liked Hwasa a lot. And that a dream collab would be with her, when they were making the song they recorded it and the whole time he’s all blushy and giggly and awkward. It’s so cute. People thought they were secretly dating for the longest time. 😂😂😂

I don't think LMM should be taken negatively. It's sad song, but in the video, there's tons of arrows who tries to get her, but none of them succeed, but she's the one who throw the arrow that hurt her. No matter how much people try, the only one who can hurt her is herself.

hwasa's voice in LMM is insane. the emotions she puts into her voice are unmatched to me.

In real life loco is really shy in front of hwasa. When they are on stage they kind of flirt, but in reality he is slowly dying inside. And hwasa’s just having fun 🤣

A little explanation of Maria On María, a song of self-conflict, Hwasa ponders on whether she should fall into darkness. Darkness of the world she lives in and the world inside her mind. Hwasa sang María with a resonating tune, chanting her own name several times as if trying to call into a void of resounding echoes, desperate to see if anyone will answer to her back. With Hwasa also writing the storyboard for the MV, she makes use of imagery to amplify her lyrics. The aftermath of her own death, shows how society views celebrities like a freakshow, lives served on a platter. Maria is one of the genius invention of Hwasa because it represents herself. Everyone vibes to Maria, everyone listens to Maria, but do they know the "Maria" herself? Like how everyone call Hwasa "an icon" and becomes who she is now. Yet no one truly understands what she went the song itself is kind of an irony imo. Everyone uses it, the song won several awards last year, when people talk about it they mention empowerment. When you listen to Maria, it's very glamorous. Then you look up into the lyric and it pierces your heart deeply.Just like how everyone knows Hwasa, how she's the one to encourage others, how she looks like she doesn't care about things people say to her. In reality, she cares. She cares about it so much it makes her hurt. She cares about it so much she might almost lost herself.And that's why Maria exist. To remind people and also herself, that Hwasa is a human too. Hwasa is a human that feels hurt by judgement of others. Maria is a reminder to people, to herself, that she is capable of this kind of feeling. And it's okay to feel that way.

I 100% get Twit though, because it's like a relationship where one partner is so so so obsessed with the other that it can become suffocating. As if they are nothing without their partner, or like the one line in the song, they can't breathe without them. It makes the other person build up this resentment, which leads them to pull away and become standoffish. So Hwasa's character was being mean to him because she felt overwhelmed with how much he idolized her, but she still loved him and didn't want to lose him. In the end, they're both "twits".

But what makes Hwasa's songs more special is that she writes her own lyrics and it was all based on her personal experiences. Thank you for reacting❤

Hwasa’s artistry made me a fan of her. You can really feel her songs deep into ur heart when you listen to it not only that but also the meaning behind it. her vocal color is so unique and the fact that she writes her songs is really amazing

LMM is possibly the best vocal showcase I’ve ever heard in any kpop song. Super angelic falsetto, beautiful tone, great conviction and emotion, and of course her signature just belts. Definitely one of the best singers in Korea.

The Hwasa Experience. That's a lot to take in at once and there's a ton to talk about in the MV's but I'll just give you my 2 cents on Don't. You nailed the voyeuristic feeling while watching Don't. The vid feels like you're eavesdropping on a conversation that's none of your business but is too titillating to tear yourself away from. Lol at the 3rd wheel comment - the real 3rd wheel is the bartender. He's the 3rd member of this collab - producer and composer Woogie. Nice catch that Loco couldn't look her in the eye. I think that's why she grabbed his jacket and rubbed his head, like "Hey, what are looking at? I'm over here. Talk to my face, baby." My favorite moment is at the end where he can't take it anymore and starts to reach for her instinctively then stops himself. It sums up everything about the push-pull of attraction & hesitation in the lyrics. If this isn't the sexiest collab in kpop history it's near the top of the list.

The sheer emotion Hwasa brought in LMM is the reason why for me it is her best work. Also she is heavily involved in the process of making the MV, from the song to the concept. Truly an artist.

Ahhh This was great Caitlin! Loved the video :) LMM is a very emotional song and I always start to cry when she is hit by her own arrow. It is such a good representation of criticism and hate comments where you can see them appearing and trying to hit her even inside the house but the one that hit her and hurt her was her own. This makes me cry like a baby every damn time. Maria is such a bop! I catch myself singing along to this song from time to time cuz it is so good. Also, the opening scene with the organs and her death is also about criticism and journalists/ media "dissecting" her through hate and offensive attacks. The collab with Loco is SO GOOD. I have it on my playlist and it is so chill and their voices compliment each other so much. Their live performance is great and they have amazing chemistry. Thank you Caitlin for these reactions! So Hwasa probably has my favorite female vocals! Oh man, Hwasa’s voice and the instrumental in LMM is so heartbreakingly beautiful, but it hurts. Like damn does it hurt, especially when you realize that the only arrow that can hurt her is the one she aims at herself(Damn, I’m gonna cry again!) and the fact that once she attacked herself she turned to face the onslaught of hate aimed at her. I actually showed LMM to my mom one day because she was going through a lot of pain at that time and I wanted to show her that she wasn’t alone in feeling that way. Maria is probably one of my all time favorite songs!! And the MV is incredible, Hwasa is such a bad @ss! I’m sure others have already said this, but Maria is Hwasa’s baptismal name.
