Tbf he has the mana regen because his mana costs are insane. Q and W start at 100 and 90, with E being around the same. It's the problem Lissandra had with her old passive when Riot gave her stupid mana costs and justified it with "well her passive gives her a free cast every 20 seconds!"
his supp numbers are bad af, and riot doesnt want him to be playes as a supp. and the mana regen is bad af, the cd is super high and u barely will notice the mana refund considering how much w costs even at lvl 1.
@@RYUcaEU Riot literally said he's intended as Mid first, Supp second; with his supporting being more in the style of Lux/Brand/Xerath/Vel'koz. (though they did say if his support capability negatively affects his mid pick/win rates then they will nerf him in support) They also said that the mana regen on WE will be a net gain on mana over the initial cost if you can spend all 3 charges.
it's actually super abusable, especially early game. slowest champ in the entire game with 320 base mov speed. no dash, no jumps, no gap closers, no blinks, no immunity, no untarggetable, no true dmg, uses mana, does have only skillshots, high cds, not overloaded numbers, goes oom after like 3-4 q's... nah, not even close to being 200y, probably on the most balanced (will probably get buffed in next patches) new champs in the later years.
@RYUcaEU Ok I can kinda get behind this but isnt shit like this basically pushing older champs to an unfavorable position? Im only saying this due to the recent roster.
@@TheHippieCozzy nah, not with a champ like Hwei. he's simply a control immobile mage, nothing more nothing less. you have 9 basic abilities but still can't use more than 3 of them in a row (you will need to wait the cds after you cast one out of three avaiable).
Memes aside, I think it’s really clever that they put abilities inspired by other champs on their corresponding keys, so that if you understand the champ(s) they came from, it won’t be such a logical leap to start playing Hwei
He's actually really easy to use despite the 9 basic abilities. He just has more options than his enemies. His best combo is QE WE Auto x 3. Pops passive at least twice.
@@viracqad65 This is without considering him using one of his E abilities or R, which could ultimately lead to a maximum of 5 pops of passive while also creating a sphere of slow and damage, a sett pull or soraka style root.
invoker from dota is also "easy to use", since you only need to learn 1-2 combos per meta. The problem is when the character is at a balanced state in the meta and then you need to use 100% of his abilities to be able to play him... and that's where the complexity goes through the roof.
@@user-um3xs5rv2k Hero like arcwarden on LoL? I think that's gonna be hard since most of LoL player not used to micro Edit : Micro as playing multiple hero or units

@@adamnuke711 it is a old video called... idk the exact title but try searching or putting "vanossgaming gmod sandbox harry potter" and the guy who said avadacadabra is wildcat from the vanoss crew just saying if u don't know
I think its easier to play than Aphel but yeah A LOT of abilities. That one that you compared to Velkoz,(QE I think) I thought that is combination of Velkoz W (I think its W right?) and Rumble ult and that one compared ro Xerath (QW I think) was Xerath and Swain for me. Super video as always.
I miss lone coyote, I hope he's okay. Nice video! I also was wondering how to pronounce his name and didn't know if he was Oogwai o Huawei hahaha nice video, I've always wanted a complex champ but they got simpler and simpler over time except for aphelios but I don't play adc :
