LFF = pokes and RFF = aggresive is a good way of looking at it since it made it less overwhelming for me to learn his moveset better since I can divide it into those sections. very nice!
Haven't played Hwo since he was Baek. Started two days ago, and this is one of the best guides. F34 f3~4 has been bugging me because you're the only one that explained how to do it. The notations don't look the same on a lot of guides, really love this vid.
This dude's videos are criminally under-watched for how much information he dumps into them. I have a Google doc that is just transcribing every move he mentions. I'm at 4 and a half pages, I'm not even halfway through the punishment section.
Hey i just wanted to stop by and say thanks for these videos youve been putting out. Its a great insight into the character and i hope to continue seeing your channel grow!
Hey, I just wanted to say thanks for the videos bro… I really wanted to get good with this character since I haven’t played since tekken 3… I’m always looking for people to play with
You’re talking about a low parry combo for Hwo right? One I’ve found easy is u3, 2, F3, Uf3+4 ,4,4,3. I’ll be putting that in my full guide if that makes things easier for you.
If that works for you that’s perfectly fine, I’m pretty sure they do the same damage regardless. I prefer uf3 cuz it leaves them at my feet so I can apply pressure when they’re trying to get up.
Hi! I'm extremely new to Hwo, but i hit Tekken King with Paul. Is this guide still relevant for the latest patch? I'm assuming it is but just want to make sure. I used to hate Hwo but my god i have a new found respect for Hwo players, this dude is hard as hell to play.
Right now just Fujin, I might be able to go further but I haven’t tried yet. Basically from there I feel I have to learn the match ups to progress easier
Do you have any tips for landing backlash after just frame sky rocket (jfsr) I can land it quite alot but there's still alot of times my backlash doesn't come out quick enough due to the delay before going into right foot stance after launching them with jfsr
@@swankygamez69420 I believe its actually the opposite from what I've trial and errored. The correct way to pull it off consistently is animation cancelling ur right foot forward stance with backlash immediately before letting your stance switch fully animate if that makes sense
@@Sven_j maybe. I’ve done it so long I don’t think about it but it’s hard at first regardless. Just don’t try to take on too much at once, if it’s difficult just have your current combo handy n just practice between matches n what not
Yeah I miss backlash being a launcher but it is what it is… I think I’d have been okay with a guaranteed follow-up on hit & a CH launcher. But that may have been too much, lol
You gotta find the move or moves you opponent likes to use & find its frames, if it’s Step-able and try to work around it. Some moves are still safe but generally take away a turn so you can learn to take advantage of the situation.
Honestly you gotta practice,,, are you holding f, so itd be uf3+4f??? If speed isn’t an issue it could be the combo you’re trying to do is too long they may be going out of range
Are you missing the kick all together or are you unable to perform the backlash ?(rff-3~4) try tapping f, f+3+4 to close the gap while shifting into stance. If the attack is missing.
@@DevaughnEC03 So whenever I attempt it i just shift stance and then shift back no matter how much i try to "piano" the 3~4. I can do it fine while standing still (eg. after a jfsr) but never while moving forward. Guess i'll keep trying @swankygamez69420
I've noticed something strange with Hwoarang, if I do 2f3 from standing, it's a true string, but if I dash up and do 2f3, the opponent is able to block. Anyone know why that is?
while this is a good guide, it's a bit too much for me as a beginner. personally I'd love if this was a progressive tutorial. starting with really only the most imporant things for beginners and then have a 2nd video or chapters for bringing it to the next level and then a 3rd for advanvced players
You’re supposed to watch n try n learn some now, n come back n learn more later. It’s a full starter guide, I have other guides where some of these are more broken up like a tutorial for beginner combos, another for HEAT, etc. Just gotta look bud
@@DDHDTV punishment is always a solid start imo… defense is always difficult but if you do manage to block something it might be nice to get in some damage while your at it
I mean I’m only a fujin who wants to help newer players out, rank doesn’t mean everything but it doesn’t mean nothing, I have the knowledge, I personally just suck. But if you don’t think that’s enough then it’s not. It just is what it is
