@bevandryan: Thanks a lot for the detailed video. We are visiting London in second half of May. We are torn between staying here or at the Sea Containers (20 Upper Ground, London SE1 9PD, United Kingdom) on the other side of the Blackfriars Bridge. Could you please suggest if this place is better because of the vicinity to the tube?
Tube entrance slightly better at Hyatt Regency, but overall almost the same since there’s a bridge that is part of the station parallel to Blackfriar’s bridge, you would just need to cross the bridge to access the other side of the station. However depending on which train you’re taking/station you’re getting off, you may land on that side of the river anyway. When taking the Thameslink train, the City Thameslink stop was on the HR Blackfriars side of the river, but the Blackfriars stop was on the Sea Containers side of the River.
