Christine, do all restaurants at Zilara/Ziva have gluten free options? My wife and I are trying to decide between Zilara and Sanctuary. She has Celiac, and we want her to actually enjoy the food while on vacation! Sanctuary looks so cool, but are worried about the food options. Thanks!
Honestly I would not worry about either option. When I was at Sanctuary, I was with people who had food sensitivities and it was no issue. When I was at Zilara, people recognized me and told me that their food issues were also no issue. Choose the resort based on other things - the food sensitivities are a non-issue in my opinion. Hi Nick Yes anyone staying on Ziva side over 18yrs can eat, drink, play on the Zilara side. All Zilara guests can eat, drink, play on both sides. Thanks for watching!
Hello, how r you? Can you help me? Whats os the main difference between Ziva and zilara? They have the same restaurants? The same food? Same everything? Thankss
They’re both part of the same overall resort but the Zilara side is adults only. So adults travelling there with kids can dine and enjoy the facilities on the zilara side but their kids will be restricted to the ziva side. Water slides, gym, and theatre are in the middle so everyone can enjoy. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

Hi Kristy Yes there were many things and the gluten free bread was actually the best I've ever had. My friend was there at the same time as my and she's vegetarian and she had no problem finding stuff and just asked them to modify things from time to time. The staff start language lessons next month, so in the meantime, download the Google Translate app - it's an amazing tool to help convey something complicated! Enjoy!
Hi Melanie - Yes, Shutters is the exclusive restaurant for Club guests for breakfast and lunch on the Zilara side. If you go to the Ziva side, it's the same thing for Chinola - the healthy restaurant. In the evening, both are open for all guests. (But Shutters is adult only obviously).
Ha ha - I actually had to stop for a lunch break as soon as I finished editing the video and I've been searching local grocery stores for mini breakfast sausages like they have at the Hyatt. They are seasoned so well and are delicious - I'd love to offer them to my guests for Christmas but I can't find them anywhere! Too bad they don't sell them in the Zilara gift shop ha ha!
Melanie Riley I haven’t seen it but someone was talking about it yesterday. At Waves bar, they had a mix of tequila beer and jalapenos , so I’m guessing you’d definitely find it at that bar! Thanks for watching!
