I think Vocal A music didn't match their voices. Vocal B is by far the best in terms of dynamics and vocals

I'm gonna need Lara, Nayoung, Samara and Sophia to debut, I don't even care who else makes it at this point. Team B absolutely killed this, I really didn't like the vocal arrangement for Team A. No one blew me away in the dance performances, but I'm more of a vocals girl so that was expected

I loved how they had Lara come in after Celeste bc of the contrast between Celeste’s bright tone and Lara’s smooth rich tone. Very well done

The way Lara came in to correct the track after Celeste that tone is sooo smooth and i didn’t hear ari in her tone i heard more jojo (leave get out jojo) that more mezzo alto range soo rich

I had the same reactions. Team B and specifically Lara had be gagged. Lara, Nayoung, Samara, and Sophia are definitely 4/6 of my votes rn. Team B had synergy and better voices, whereas team A felt like individuals singing together. The dance was hard to judge, I feel like I didn’t learn much about the contestants.

Also, what you’re saying at the end really makes me think of Somi. I know after I.O.I disbanded she talked a lot about how she was told during her voice stood out too much so she had to train to blend it, and now that she’s a soloist she had to learn how to undo that.
