Currently hybrid products are not available specially for matt finishes, you can use the spray coating to protect them but it shall add little sheen to matt plastics. The sheen will be temporary for few days, if you don't like the satin shine created by it, you can immediately remove the spray coating by any detergent/cleaner.

Option 1, wash and clay the car and directly apply the spray ceramic coating, wash with strong shampoo or detergent to remove the pollution and pre applied waxes if any (in short chemical decon) Clay is done manually, doesn't requires any machine. Option 2, Just wash the car and apply spray coating. Wash with strong shampoo to remove pollution film (decon)

As you mentioned life of hybrid solution is 12 months. Then to maintain the lustre, should we spray it after every 6 months? If yes then is compounding and polishing steps needs to be repeated? If not then what next to do.

To maintain lustre you can respray every 3 months also, case to case compounding maybe needed, in some cases maybe not, just good wash and clay shall make the surface ready as DIY to respray the hybrid coating. If you are looking to correct lots of swirls and scratches, then yes surely you will need and compounding on car.

Swirls can be easily removed by polishing, use a medium compound with DA polisher to remove them, happy detailing.

Ideally one should wait for 24 hours after applying polish, during hot climates one can also apply spray coating after 12 hours also, one coat is good enough, for dark color cars for for two coats after 12/24 hrs. Happy Detailing.

Hi Sir, I really like your videos and way of your explanations... I have few queries about apply above product on my car. I am not professional and want use at home on my car. Claying should be done after washing, skip sanding and compounding as you are not professional and dont have any polisher. After wash you can directly apply the polish, if you intend to apply hybrid spray coating at end, then i suggest to polish with hybrid polish only, nothing else, after hybrid polish wait for 2-3 hours as its monsoon now a days, then you can spray the ceramic, one coat is enough, if you want to apply second coat wait for 24 hrs. Do not wash you car by any shampoo or chemical for first 7 days after that use hybrid ceramic shampoo for all your washes. Happy Detailing.

I want proper ceramic coat on surface, which coating do you suggest for a brand new car after delivery. What ceramic coating brand you suggest for ceramic coating, not hybrid one. How to protect windshield, window glass, chrome accessories , headlights to prevent damage to them by spraying ceramic sprays.

To have a proper ceramic coating, i suggest to get it applied from professional detail studio, I suggest CrystalShield, Gtechniq or Detailmax coatings. Windshield, glasses and other surfaces can be also protected with specific coatings made for these surfaces. Happy Detailing.

Hybrid ceramic spray is not suggested for front windshield but you may apply on rear glass. Hybrid Polish can be applied in circular motions by hand using a foam/sponge applicator, leave it for couple of minutes and then wipe with microfibre cloth. Happy Detailing.

Buddy you forgot or didn't care to mention that this product is inferior to 10k wali ceramic coatings. The only benefit it gives is that less dust will deposit and it is water repellent. But the reason why people opt for ceramic coating is its scratch resistant property and its durability. This lasts only a year where as if you opt for 9H/10H hardenss ceramic coat it will last you anywhere from 2-5 years depending on the product. Above that it will keep ur product scratch free whereas turtle wax doesn't even mention it prevents scratch.

pls advise i have already ceramic copating on my car, can i use these products on top of ceramic coat and secondly the place from where i got my ceramic coating done they offered me 5 yrs of warranmty and maintenance every 4 months. In those maint. i hv seen them sanding and compunding the car so does this removes the ceramic from the paint and leaves the paint unportected. isnt this a scam every 4 mnths they r just rubbing and polishing ur car and not really maintaing the ceramic coat?

To answer your first query, yes you can use hybrid products on already ceramic coated cars for regular maintenance. Regarding your second query, performing sanding and compounding on ceramic coating, surely compromises the coat and in most cases remove the coat and leave the paint unprotected. It defeats the purpose if every 4 months you are getting your car sanded and compounded. Sanding and compounding is not the right way to maintain the ceramic coating.

It fully depends on the condition of paint, if no deep scratches then sanding is not needed, light compounding may be needed if paint has defects like swirls, but if you are satisfied with the finish or condition of paint, you can apply ceramic spray without sanding and compounding also.

If paint spots are only on windshield then you can use a blade scrapper to remove the uper layer and then use steel wool of 0000 grade to clear all the spots, if paint is of thin layer then only steel wool shall be enough. You can also try thinner, but use it very cautiously. But if you have wall paint spots on other painted panels of cars then the above process may not work and you may not be able to fix it at home, i would strongly suggest to visit a professional, regards AS

Sanding is PRO process not recommended for DIY, its use of sand paper with machine or manually to diminish severe defects in clear coat, claying is the process done before compounding and sanding for decontamination. These are the steps followed by all the Pro's of detailing industry.

Nice and informative video... I got Vurth Ceramic Coating done on my vehicle when I purchased it, from the dealer. It has now been six months, and I am not really satisfied with the coating that has been done - I find cloth marks even though I have been using a microfibre cloth, and I have also but must also given the car wash guy a microfibre cloth to use, but must agree/state here that the car wash guy could be using a different cloth, and thus the swirl marks... The dealer provides a recoat only post one year of the first application, and I am thus approaching you to understand how I could do this on my own, to get rid of the swirl marks. What are the products that I would need to purchase, and do also advise the machine and the types of pads that I would need to purchase, please. Appreciate reaching out to us, firstly use a good quality microfibre cloth and make sure to wash it after every use to remove dust incapsulated in cloth to avoid marks. Secondly best way to maintain ceramic coated car is to wash by Ceramic Shampoo, Thirdly you can use Hybrid solution polish & wax to remove swirls periodically, you can apply it by hand also, or opt for DIY orbital polisher which shall be quite easy and comfortable to use as car owner. Also note that you have two products for Leather Care - DETAILMAX Leather Conditioner and DETAILMAX LEATHER MAX Ceramic Coating. Could you advise the useful ness of both, and also if both should be used - first use the Leather Conditioner and then after a few days, as a protective coat, use the Leather Max Ceramic Coating. basis your advise will do ahead and purchase either one or both. One last query and advise - how does one handle stone marks that result of small stones flying up onto the vehicle while on a long drive. Hi sir I saw ur video is super I understand...but one question actually all process done in out side shop they removed scratches and they applied wax and coating but i m not satisfied so I ordered this 2 products which u showed in this video can I apply for my car... with out sanding and compounding can apply ceramic coating and spray..

You can apply without sanding and compounding also, but then if your car has lot of swirls and scratches they shall still remain, but you shall surely get some of them out from polish and add a layer of protection with spray coating. Happy Detailing.

@@gmaail... paste wax is one of their long lasting product, so other product shall be moreover with same results, kindly check tds of your water with which you wash and which shampoo do you use also matters. Hope you are not using a detergent and very hard water to wash !

More product shall and thick layer will take more time to cure, during that shall attract dust, so thin layer is better, which shall spread even/pefrfect and work better as it shall dry and cure faster.

It all depends on condition of painted panels, even on brand new vehicles there could be severe damages, so if the damages need sanding/compounding, then yes, if paint is without any damages like swirls and scratches, you may not need sanding but in most of cases medium compunding may be needed, it all boils down to what is the condition of the car or any specific panel is. Cutting compound is generally refred to heavy cut or coarse compound which can remove 1500 sanding marks, polishing compounds are generally medium cut or fine cut which can remove sanding marks of 2500 or 3000 grit.

Yes, I have tried it on my brand new vehicle so it was a cake walk...but for a medium to heavy swirls and scratches, it might be a hell of a job to correct the paint with hands....you would be needing a lot of elbow grease....

Yes, you can use these products without sanding and compounding. But if your vehicle has a lot of swirls/scratches/UV oxidation etc, it's recommended to first correct the surface paint and then use these products for best results.

I got my Car's detailing done at one of the biggest names in the industry but it is just 6-7 months and there are swirl marks and other issues, i just wanted to know the DIY process of maintaining it at home. I am a very big DIY guy, have been doing it since many years but a bit confused right now on the process to take. I have the below process in my mind- 1- Washing )Ceramic based shampoo) 2- Clay Bar Cleaning 3- Confused on what to do at this point- should it be rubbing/polishing or wax or ceramic polish+wax solution by Turtle Wax or Wavex, or 3m 1 step compound 4- Wavex Ceramic Prep Spray 5- Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic Spray Please guide me on this. Swirls marks are unavoidable in our conditions, whichever coating you apply swirls are hard to avoid, but regular maintenance can keep them away and maintain your car in immaculate condition. After Claying you can use polish and wax, this will not hamper the ceramic coating layer and help you reduce the swirls and bring back the gloss and hybrid protection. After 24 hrs if you wish you can spray one layer of ceramic sealant. Avoid heavy cut rubbing compounds or one step products on ceramic coated cars, stick to light abrasives. Happy Detailing.
