Hello sir? Do parrot fish lay eggs without male? I want to breed my male flowerhorn and female parrot fish. But I don’t even see my parrot fish laying eggs, she is already now 6 inches and she is solo in her 50 gallons tank
Yes. Parrot fish lay eggs without male fish if matured to lay eggs. Normally Parrot fish matured 10-12 months. Best thing is buy another female fish & try. But one thing keep in your mind that 95% Parrot Male fish are infertile. That means they can not make Baby fish. Females are ok. So you can try with Male Flowerhorn & make baby fish.
Hi Sir. Is this fighting behavior normal? I'm trying to cross vieja marble with parrot. But as soon as I remove the glass partition they show this lip locking behavior and eventually parrot gets hurt. Parrot female has already lowered its tube. I have watched most of your videos to get some help.
It is normal.But if continue to fighting behavior,they will damage their lips.There is a exact timing for remove glass partition.Not before/Not later of egg laying .
Yes.Possible.Keep. separate.Give High Protein foods 2-3 times per day.After 14-20 days Female Parrot fish with full of eggs & ready to breed.That time remove separator & looks what is happening.If very aggressive.Again separate them.Again try after few days.You will be success.
