that is so true!!!! i cannot express how it opened up my mind, especially the triad vid. it just gave me a better knowledge on the possibility or exercises i could come up with. Please make more of them man. Sweep picking, legato, tapping, harmonics, so many topics.... Please make more of them. Im really looking forward to them!!
Amazing guitarist and teacher. We musicians are lucky to have an instructor as good as you Jack and every bit as competent as Guthrie Govan Tom Quayle Martin Miller Andy Wood and Alex Hutchings. Thanks a bunch and hoping the music world rewards you kindly for all your generosity.
Hi Jack, is there any chance that stuff like this will end up compiled in a book release at some point? I know there are PDFs, Tabs and all the digital fun. I really enjoy working through books, though. That would be great :)
Amazing. Been struggling with trying to incorporate hybrid picking into my playing, most videos on YT tend to be the old chickin' pickin' style which isn't my thing. You've given me some ideas and inspiration to get practicing and hopefully one day I'll be half as good as you! Cheers!
What an amazing player. I practice a lot and I will never reach anywhere near this level. Hard work is important but theres definitely a talent gene too 😂
This should be "The Definitive Guide to Hybrid Picking" period. I used to be completely clueless on how to execute hybrid picking properly but because of this I can finally start learning it the right way! You're a legend, thank you!🥰❤
Sou seu fã assisto sem seus vídeos! Mais você conversa de mais nos vídeos . Tem que tocar mais e conversar menos para o vídeo não ficar grande só de conversas amigos! Oxe.🤷🏾♂️
Sir,Your most excellent on that there darned guitar.yYou made me pick my Ibanez up and sound nothing like you . By the way the sign says no stairway DENIED
Jack, how did you switch from Strandberg to Ibanez? Meaning, with having playing Strandberg for two years now. I find it very hard to play other guitars. Not really the neck but more the weight, especially of the head. So for me it is very very difficult going back to “normal” guitars because they just feel so heavy and uncomfortable.
Wow! I can't believe we get all this for free. This channel is gonna explode. Hybrid picking is such a magnificent addition to modern e-guitar technique made more mainstream by players like Tom Quayle and Rick Graham and now this genius. It's even awesome for metal guitar as a string skipping cheat code! It's only Achilles/blind spot would be the classical tremolo technique: the P-a-m-i stream of notes made famous by classical-nylon school (which you probably don't need unless you are dedicated to solo-pieces).
