I had a few hours after work to go chase some fish so I hooked the boat up and drove down to the lake! We were able to find a nice school of Hybrid Striped Bass in the upper end of the lake between two islands, suspended in about 25 ft of water next to a ledge. Turned on the Garmin Livescope and started throwing shad pattern + chartreuse swimbaits at them and it was on.

I fish every weekend, usually Percy Priest. I live about 45 minutes from Dickson - the channel name is in reference to my last name, Dickson.

Any recommending place to find hybrid around this months? Love the fight hybrid put up but I’m very new to this lake and new to hybrid fishing.

If you're on the bank, try around the Hobson Pike bridge - cast out into the channel, they will hold at about 15-25 feet deep near drop offs or humps. Go to navionics.com and look at the chart viewer to find those drop offs and humps that you can reach from the bank. If from a boat, look near channel drop offs and channel bends, humps or depressions on flats.
