40 years old dispute of Telangana state's claim over several villages in Chandrapur district comes back to limelight. The Telangana High Court declared these villages to be part of their state. In response, the Maharashtra government had moved it to the Supreme Court, where its appeal is still pending. 14 villages in Jiwati taluk, 12 villages in Rajura taluk and 5 villages in Antapur of Chandrapur district are disputed with Telangana State. They are revenue villages of Marazoda, Anarpally, Lakampur, Ananthapur, Esagaon, Bolapathar, Gouri (D), Parandoli, Paraswada, Arkepally (D), Karanjiwada, Kota, Mukadamguda, Maharajguda, Lendijala, Lendiguda, Indiranagar, Yesapur, Narayanguda, Shankarloddi, Padmavathi and Janakpur, etc. sharing border with Adilabad District of Telangana, which has laid claim on these areas. The encroachment by Telangana is much attributed to its two humungous projects Pranahita Chevella lift irrigation scheme and Icchampally project which are seen to drain-out the water, land, people and agricultural resources of Vidarbha region. The ongoing Telangana State Irrigation project Pranahita Chevella lift irrigation scheme which is a project not in the interest of Maharashtra. Maharashtra will be losing about 2123.4 hectares of land (which is severely under reported by print media at 1500 Ha or even less). The Telangana State Irrigation project Icchampally Project which is a project not in the interest of Maharashtra. Maharashtra will be losing 33,614 hectares of land which is more than 100 villages. Telangana govt suppresses the progress in Marathwada because if Marathwada becomes separate and builds dams like Kaleswaram in their region also it will be hinder growth in telangana.

Beautiful Hyderabad majestic Birla Mandir at hill top is world's 8th wonder. This temple gives Panasonic view of fantastic beautiful HUSAIN SAGAR lake and beautiful twin cities. We plan to visit again in July and go for Darshan at temple and feel the scented fragrance of spiritually. Long live Birla Brothers.
Hyderabad city is known as City of pearls, city of lakes, city of palaces, City of gardens. Now all lakes are fast vanishing, all lakes disappeared, all palaces are gone , as an elderly person, I fell very sad.

I'm from northeast india we went to hyderabad last year in October so good to see such a beautiful city which has lots of tourist places I love it... But one thing that hussain sagar lake is smelling bad... And the coluor of the water is becoming black n lots of garbage floating in the lake water.. Thnk u
After Bangalore, Nizam of hyderabad city has appointed the famous engineer, sir.Visveshwaraih for city planning, drainage system, and water works, etc, took his services.
Wonderful community, Priyani City, my last time visit was 2005 , before spilit. I see magnificent huge difference. Hyderabad can beat Singapore and Hongkong if it goes like this. Fastest growing city in history. The the people, love southern indians for their honest and humbleness.
