Ingredients:
Doodh (milk): 1 ½ litre
Sabudana (sago seeds): 4 tablespoons
Kaju (cashews): 50 grams
Khowa: 100 grams
Grated kaddu or bottlegourd (Kadokash kiya hua kaddu): 1 ½ cup
Condensed milk: ½ cup
Khane ka hara rang (green food colour) : 2 pinches
Shakkar (sugar): 180 grams
Vanilla essence: 4 drops
Proceure:
1. Doodh ko boil kar lijiye. Is se aadha cup doodh nikalkar alag rakh lijiye.
2. Sabudana pandrah minute tak bheegne ke liye rakh dijiye.
3. Kaju bareek pees lijiye.
4. Khowa aadhe cup doodh mein, jo hamne nikaal kar rakha tha, khowa is mein achhi tarah se ghol lijiye.
5. Dedh cup grated kaddu lijiye.
6. Ek pan mein grated kaddu daliye, aadha cup paani daliye. Dhakkan dhanp dijiye.
7. Dheemi aanch par ise das minute tak pakaiyye ke kaddu gal jaye.
8. Jab paani sookh jaye tab ise mash kar lijiye aur paani saara sookh jaane tak isko bhuniye.
9. Bhune hue kaddu ko alag rakh lijiye.
10. Boil kiye hue doodh mein paani nithra hua sabudana daliye.
11. Das se pandrah minute tak dheemi aanch par pakaiyye ke sabudana gal jaaye.
12. Ab is mein Kaju paste daliye, doodh aur khowe ka mixture daliye aur ise hilate rahiye ke khoye ke lumps na bane.
13. Aadha cup condensed milk daliye. Do chutki khane ka hara rang daliye, yeh optional hai.
14. Is mein kaddu daliye jo humne gala kar rakha tha.
15. Achhi tarah se milakar is mein shakkar (sugar) daliye.
16. Das minute tak hilaiyye.
17. Aanch band kar dijiye aur thanda hone ke liye rakh dijiye.
18. Thanda hone par is mein vanilla essence daliye.
