Sir, you have rarest teaching ability, even a novice can grasp the subject fully. Love to join your training if you have any. Thanks for the free videos.
Thank you very much sir for sharing your knowledge that too in a simple language! Sir,i have one question, could you please help me to resolve it. Which is the recommended procedure to adjust the pressure of variable displacement axial piston pump? and why?
Great thanks I am Instrument guy wants to take a presentation on Hydraulic starter system, your video enlightened me. I feel very grateful to you. I request you to provide case study on hydraulic starter for Gas turbine.

Agr case drain increase ho rha h aur pilot pump ye handle nhi kr paa rha h, to suction line m case drain ka connection de skte h kyuki waha km pressure rhta h?
Hi Ramjeet Thank you for watching my videos. Please watch other hydraulic videos to understand the systems. Sharing a brief write up on Excavator for your ready reference.
Main components of the hydraulic system of an Excavator include: 1. Hydraulic pump: Generating the high-pressure hydraulic fluid flow Powered by the engine. 2. Control valves: These valves regulate the flow and pressure of the hydraulic fluid to the various hydraulic cylinders that control the movement of the boom, arm, and bucket. 3. Hydraulic cylinders: These are linear actuators that convert the hydraulic pressure and flow into mechanical force and movement to operate the excavator's components. 4. Hydraulic oil reservoir: This tank holds the hydraulic fluid that circulates through the system. Also responsible for dissipating heat. 5. Hydraulic lines and hoses: These transport the high-pressure hydraulic fluid from the pump to the control valves and cylinders. The basic operation is as follows: 1. The hydraulic pump draws fluid from the reservoir and generates high-pressure flow. 2. The control valves direct this high-pressure fluid to the appropriate hydraulic cylinders, causing them to extend or retract and move the excavator's components. 3. The fluid then returns to the reservoir, where it is cooled and filtered before being recirculated by the pump. Excavators use two types of Hydraulic Systems known as OLSS (Open-Centre Load Sensing System) & CLSS (Closed-Centre Load Sensing System) in some of the popular makes of excavators apart from, LSPC Hydraulic System, PPPC Hydraulic System and NFC Hydraulic System . 1. OLSS uses two banks of Open-Centre Direction Control Spool Valves to control simultaneous operation of maximum four functions with two hands & two legs at any given point of time. 2. CLSS uses a single bank of Closed-Centre Direction Control Spool Valves to control similar functions. Excavator Operation: A Hydraulic Excavator has six functions and twelve operations. The Functions & Operations are: a) Boom-Up or Boom-Down, b) Stick In/ Crowd or Stick out/ Uncrowd, c) Bucket-Curl In or Curl Out, d) Swing-Right or Left, e) Left Track Forward or Reverse, f) Right Forward or Reverse.
Not exactly .... Think in this way , when hydraulic oil temp increases, oil viscosity reduces that results increase in internal leakage. Increase in internal leakage genearates heat which contributes to hyd. oil overheating. Reason of Hydraulic oil overheating is a great topic of duscussion which I will share ..... may be after some time. Thanks.
One Doubt - If delivery pressure increases(increase in restriction) then flow will be automatically adjusted by pump or it will continues give same flow.
Good Question 😄 Considering an Axial Piston Pump with Load Sensing Pressure Compensated : 1. Delivery pressure, ie pump main pressure increases as load increased ( upto the pump specified pressure cut off limit) or vice versa. 2. Irrespective of Pressure changes due to variable load, flow rate will remain same. 3. Pump regulator is responsible for flow change. 4. As per the Direction control valve movement ( by the operator), “Margin Pressure” changes. This Margin Pressure controls the flow compensator of the pump regulator, which changes the swash plate angle and which eventually up stoke or de stroke the pump, ie provides Max and Min Flow.
Hi Thanks... Load sense relief valve is used to limit the system pressure by controlling the "fluid flow" instead of dumping the oil flow to tank. LSRV stops oil flow when a function reached its specified pressure setting and limits it. I am uploading videos systematically and definitely after some time I will upload videos related to LSRV and other Pressure control valves. Thanks for showing your interest and happy learning.
@@debasish61 Thanx for your support and reply. I am curious to know about Unloader Used in Control valve block vs LSRV VS Drain regulator. Most confusing is drain regulator & Unloader.
@@mechengineer8312 😃 You need to wait for some time .. I'll discuss everything in this forum. By the way thanks for showing your interest and I'll appreciate if you can ask your friends ( who are in HEMM) to subscribe my channel. Keep asking questions which is actually a motivational boost for me to upload more and more informative videos.
Thumb Rule : Case drain should be less than 10% of the pump flow. Refer OEM testing and adjusting section of O&M manual.for actual drain rate and check process.

Hi Manoj , thanks for your question. " thik chale" iska matlab kya hai. BHL me cylinders uthane/ nichey karne ka speed agar thik hai to apke pump flow thik hai. Agar Loader/ Backhoe side me digging ya loading karne ka taqat kam hai to ye ak pressure related issue ho sakte hai. apke machine ki problem ki thora details dijiye. 1. Check Backhoe side and Loader side cycle time. 2. Check the system pressure of both the Backhoe and Loader side and share.
